Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all contents. Place on a stable, level, waterproof surface away from walls and electronics.

1. Remove all packaging materials from the humidifier and tank.
2. Install the wick filter: Remove from packaging and insert into the filter frame in the base.
3. Fill the water tank: Carry tank to sink, remove cap, fill with cool tap water, replace cap securely.
4. Place tank on base: Align tank with base and set down gently until it clicks into place.
5. Plug into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.

WARNING! Always use clean, cool tap water. Do not use hot water or add any chemicals, oils, or fragrances to the water tank. Ensure unit is on a flat surface to prevent tipping or leakage.

First-Time Use

After installation, power on the humidifier and set your preferences.

1. Power On: Plug in unit. The Power Indicator light will illuminate.
2. Set Humidity Level: Turn the Humidistat dial to your desired setting (e.g., 40-60% RH is often recommended for comfort).
3. Observe Mist Output: Mist should begin to emit from the outlet within a few minutes.

  Controls and Operation

     • Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembly.
  3. Descaling: For hard water areas, use a mixture of white vinegar and water (1:1) in the tank. Let sit for 20 minutes, scrub, then rinse multiple times until vinegar smell is gone.

  CAUTION! Never use abrasive cleaners, bleach, or ammonia. Always unplug before cleaning. Ensure unit is completely dry before plugging back in.

  Filter Replacement

  The wick filter should be replaced every 1-2 months during regular use, or when visibly discolored or calcified.

  1. Unplug the humidifier and remove the water tank.
  2. Lift out the old wick filter from the base.
  3. Insert the new filter (Model HF-100). Ensure it is seated properly in the frame.
  4. Reassemble the tank and base. Plug in and resume use.

  Tip: Do not attempt to clean and reuse the wick filter, as its absorbency decreases. Using a dirty filter reduces efficiency and moisture output.
