Specifications

Controls and Operation

Primary control is the Humidity Control Dial on the front of the base unit.

Dial Positions:
OFF: Unit is powered off.
LOW (I): Minimal mist output, quietest operation, longest run time.
MEDIUM (II): Moderate mist output for average room conditions.
HIGH (III): Maximum mist output for quickly adding moisture to dry air.

Refill Indicator Light: A blue light on the front will turn on when the water tank is empty, signaling it is time to refill. The unit will automatically shut off.

To resume operation after refill: Fill tank, replace on base. The light will turn off and you may turn the dial to your desired setting.

Maintenance & Filter Care

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and air quality.

  1. Filter Replacement: The wicking filter should be replaced every 1-2 months, or more often if water is hard or unit is used frequently. Use only Honeywell HWF-300 replacement filters.
  2. To Replace Filter: Unplug unit. Remove tank. Lift out old filter from base. Soak new filter in cool water for 15 min, insert into frame. Reassemble.
  3. Daily: Refill tank with clean, cool water as needed.
  4. Weekly Check: Inspect filter for mineral buildup or discoloration.

Tip: Using distilled or demineralized water can extend filter life and reduce white dust.

Cleaning Instructions

Clean every 1-2 weeks to prevent mold or bacteria growth.

  1. Unplug the unit from the electrical outlet.
  2. Remove the water tank and pour out any remaining water.
  3. Remove the wicking filter (replace if it's time).
  4. Clean the tank and base with a mixture of mild dish soap and warm water. Use a soft cloth or brush. Do not submerge the base motor assembly.
  5. Rinse all parts thoroughly with clean water.
  6. Wipe all surfaces dry with a soft cloth.
  7. Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembling and using.

CAUTION! Never use bleach, harsh chemicals, or abrasive cleaners. Do not allow water to enter the motor housing in the base.

Safety Features

Automatic Shut-Off: The unit will automatically power off when the water tank is empty, protecting the motor.

Tip-Over Protection: Ensure the unit is placed on a level surface. If tipped over significantly, it may stop misting.

Refill Indicator: Prevents dry running by alerting you to refill.
