Specifications

Controls and Operation

Primary controls are located on the base unit.

Humidity Control Dial: Rotate to adjust mist output. Turning clockwise increases output (Low -> Medium -> High).

Refill Indicator Light: Illuminates RED when water tank is empty or nearly empty. Turns off when tank is refilled and properly seated.

Mist Outlet Nozzle: Can be rotated 360° to direct mist flow.

Power Cord: Plug into outlet to power unit. Unplug to turn off.

Operation Tips: For best performance, place unit at least 12 inches from walls on a level surface. Use in a room with closed doors for faster humidity increase. Clean and refill tank daily with fresh water.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning prevents mold and mineral buildup. Unplug unit before any maintenance.

  1. Daily: Empty any remaining water from tank and base. Rinse tank with clean water.
  2. Weekly Cleaning: Disassemble tank and base. Clean all surfaces with a soft cloth and a mixture of mild dish soap and warm water. Do not submerge motor base.
  3. Descaling (Monthly or as needed): For mineral deposits, use a solution of 1 cup white vinegar and 1 gallon water. Let sit in tank and base for 20 minutes, then scrub gently. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
  4. Drying: Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembly and storage.

CAUTION! Never use abrasive cleaners, bleach, or harsh chemicals. Do not immerse motor base in water.

Filter Replacement

The wicking filter should be replaced every 1-2 months for optimal performance, or when discolored or clogged.

  1. Unplug unit and remove water tank.
  2. Remove the old filter from the filter frame in the base.
  3. Prepare new filter: Soak in cool water for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Insert the new, soaked filter into the frame. Ensure it is seated flat.
  5. Reassemble tank and base. Discard old filter properly.

Note: Using the humidifier without a filter or with a clogged filter can reduce performance and increase white dust.

Safety Features

Automatic Shut-Off: Activates when water tank is empty or improperly seated, preventing motor damage. Refill Indicator Light: Alerts user when water level is low. Tip-Over Protection: Unit is designed to minimize spillage if tipped, but always operate upright.

Care & Storage

When not in use for extended periods, prepare unit for storage.

  1. Unplug power cord.
  2. Empty and thoroughly clean tank and base as per weekly cleaning instructions.
  3. Allow all parts to dry completely.
  4. Remove and discard old filter. Do not store with a wet filter installed.
  5. Reassemble unit and store in original box or a dry, cool place.

CAUTION! Never store with water in the tank. Ensure unit is completely dry to prevent mold growth.
