Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all contents. Place on a flat, stable, waterproof surface away from electronics and direct sunlight.

WARNING! Do not use with extension cords or place near heat sources. Ensure unit is on a waterproof surface to prevent water damage.

First-Time Use

Power on the humidifier and set desired humidity level.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning prevents mineral buildup and ensures efficient operation.

  1. Unplug unit and remove tank.
  2. Clean tank: Use mild detergent and soft cloth; rinse thoroughly.
  3. Clean base: Wipe with damp cloth; do not immerse in water.
  4. Descale: Use white vinegar solution to remove mineral deposits if needed (monthly in hard water areas).
  5. Dry completely before reassembly.

Tip: Clean unit at least once a week during use, or more often in hard water areas.

Replacing the UV Lamp

The UV lamp should be replaced annually for optimal germ reduction.

  1. Unplug unit and ensure it is dry.
  2. Access UV chamber: Remove cover as per model instructions (typically slides or twists off).
  3. Remove old lamp: Gently pull out UV lamp assembly.
  4. Insert new lamp: Align pins and push into socket until secure.
  5. Replace cover and plug in unit. UV indicator light should illuminate when running.

WARNING! Handle UV lamp carefully; avoid touching glass. Dispose of old lamp according to local regulations.

Storage Instructions

Prepare unit for storage when not in use for extended periods.

  1. Unplug unit and empty all water from tank and base.
  2. Clean thoroughly as described in Maintenance section.
  3. Allow all parts to dry completely.
  4. Reassemble and store in original box or protective cover in a cool, dry place.
