Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all parts. Place on a flat, stable, waterproof surface.

  1. Remove tank: Lift tank off the base unit.
  2. Install wick filter: Unwrap new filter, soak in cool water for 15 minutes, then insert into filter frame in base.
  3. Fill tank: Turn tank upside down, remove cap, fill with cool, clean water (do not use hot water or additives).
  4. Reassemble: Place tank back onto base, ensuring it sits securely.
  5. Plug into standard 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Place humidifier on a level surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and electronics. Keep out of reach of children.

First-Time Use

Power on the humidifier; set desired humidity level.

  1. Initial setup: Ensure filter is soaked and installed correctly.
  2. Fill tank with clean, cool water up to the MAX fill line.
  3. Place tank on base and plug in the unit.
  4. Turn the humidity control dial to desired setting (Low to High).
  5. Adjust mist outlet direction as needed.

  1. Ensure tank is filled with clean, cool water.
  2. Plug in unit; power indicator will light up.
  3. Set humidity control to desired level (start with MEDIUM).
  4. Adjust mist outlet to direct moisture away from walls and furniture.
  5. For quiet operation, engage Quiet Mode.
  6. Unit will run until tank is empty, then shut off automatically.
  7. Refill tank as needed; do not run unit without water.

Tip: Ideal indoor humidity is between 30% and 50%. Use a hygrometer to monitor levels.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning prevents mold and mineral buildup.

  1. Unplug unit before cleaning.
  2. Empty any remaining water from tank and base.
  3. Clean tank: Use mild detergent and soft brush; rinse thoroughly.
  4. Clean base: Wipe interior with damp cloth; do not submerge in water.
  5. Descale: If mineral deposits form, use white vinegar solution (1 part vinegar to 2 parts water) to soak affected parts, then rinse.
  6. Dry all parts completely before reassembly.
  7. Clean exterior with dry or slightly damp cloth.

CAUTION! Never use harsh chemicals, abrasives, or immerse base in water. Always unplug before maintenance.

Filter Replacement

Replace wick filter every 1-2 months or when indicator light is on.

  1. Unplug unit and remove water tank.
  2. Remove old filter from filter frame in base.
  3. Soak new HCM-535F filter in cool water for 15 minutes.
  4. Insert soaked filter into frame, ensuring it sits flat.
  5. Reassemble tank and base; plug in unit.
  6. Reset filter indicator (if applicable) by pressing and holding the indicator button for 3 seconds.

Note: Using a worn filter reduces efficiency and can cause mineral dust output.
