Control Panel: POWER Button, Mist Level Adjust (+/- or Dial), Filter Indicator Light, Optional Night Light Button.

Basic Operation: Press POWER to turn on/off. Adjust mist level for desired humidity. The unit will run until tank is empty or turned off.

Tips: For best performance, use in a closed room. Place at least 12 inches from walls. Use distilled water to minimize mineral deposits.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning is essential to prevent mold and mineral buildup. Unplug before any maintenance.

  1. Daily: Refill tank with fresh water. Wipe exterior with a damp cloth.
  2. Weekly Cleaning: Empty any remaining water. Disassemble tank and base.
  3. Clean Tank: Fill with a mixture of 1 cup white vinegar and 1 gallon water. Let sit for 20 minutes, scrub interior with soft brush, rinse thoroughly.
  4. Clean Base: Wipe base and mist chamber with vinegar solution and a soft cloth. Do not submerge base in water.
  5. Rinse: Rinse all parts with clean water to remove vinegar smell.
  6. Dry: Air dry completely before reassembling and using.
  7. Filter Care (if applicable): Replace filter every 1-3 months or as indicated by filter light. Do not wash filter.

WARNING! Never use harsh chemicals, abrasives, or detergents. Do not immerse base unit in water.

Using Essential Oils

Optional essential oil tray allows for aromatherapy. Do not add oils directly to water tank.

  1. Ensure humidifier is off and unplugged.
  2. Locate the essential oil tray (usually a small removable compartment near the mist outlet).
  3. Add 2-3 drops of your preferred essential oil to the tray pad or compartment.
  4. Reinsert the tray into its slot.
  5. Operate humidifier as normal. Mist will carry the scent.
  6. Clean tray regularly with water to prevent oil residue buildup.

CAUTION! Use only 100% pure, high-quality essential oils. Overuse can damage the tray or unit. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

Safety Features

Auto Shut-Off: Turns unit off when water tank is empty or not properly seated to prevent damage. Tip-Over Protection (on some models): Shuts off if unit is knocked over. Antimicrobial Tank Treatment: Inhibits growth of mold and bacteria. Cool Mist Technology: Produces room-temperature mist, safe around children and pets.

Care & Storage

When not in use for extended periods, prepare unit for storage.

  1. Unplug the unit.
  2. Empty and thoroughly clean the tank and base as per weekly cleaning instructions.
  3. Allow all parts to air dry completely.
  4. Reassemble without the filter (discard old filter).
  5. Store in original box or a clean, dry place away from dust.
  6. Do not store with water in the tank.

CAUTION! Never store the unit while wet, as this promotes mold growth.
