Installation & Setup

5. Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the base in water.
6. Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembling.

CAUTION! Never use abrasive cleaners, bleach, or harsh chemicals. Do not use the dishwasher to clean any parts.

Filter Replacement

The wicking filter should be replaced every 1-3 months, depending on water hardness and usage.

1. Turn off and unplug the humidifier.
2. Remove the water tank.
3. Take out the old filter from the base compartment.
4. Insert a new Honeywell HCM-610 filter. Ensure it is seated properly.
5. Reassemble the tank and base.
6. Reset the filter indicator (if applicable) by pressing and holding the filter button for 3 seconds.

Note: Using a worn filter reduces performance and can lead to mineral deposits (white dust).
