Controls and Settings

The humidifier features simple, intuitive controls located on the front of the base unit.

Control Dial: Rotate to adjust mist output and humidity level. Turn clockwise to increase (High), counter-clockwise to decrease (Low).

Indicator Lights: Power Light (Blue): Illuminates when unit is plugged in and operational. Refill Light (Red): Turns on when the water tank is nearly empty.

Filter Compartment: Houses the wicking filter; accessible by removing the tank.

Tip: For optimal humidity (30-50%), start on a medium setting and adjust based on room conditions.

Operation Guide

For daily use and optimal performance.

  1. Always use cool, clean tap water. Distilled or demineralized water is recommended to reduce white dust.
  2. Adjust the control dial to set your desired humidity level. Higher settings produce more mist.
  3. When the red refill light illuminates, turn off and unplug the unit, then refill the tank.
  4. For quiet nighttime operation, use the low setting.
  5. The auto shut-off will deactivate the unit when the tank is empty, preventing damage.

WARNING! Do not operate without the filter installed. Never add essential oils or chemicals to the water tank.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning prevents mold and mineral buildup. Clean every 1-2 weeks during use.

  1. Unplug the unit and remove the water tank.
  2. Empty any remaining water from the tank and base.
  3. Clean the tank with a mixture of mild dish soap and warm water. Use a soft brush if needed.
  4. Rinse the tank thoroughly with clean water.
  5. Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the base in water.
  6. Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembling.

CAUTION! Never use abrasive cleaners, bleach, or harsh chemicals. Do not use the dishwasher to clean any parts.

Filter Replacement

The wicking filter should be replaced every 1-3 months, depending on water hardness and usage.

  1. Turn off and unplug the humidifier.
  2. Remove the water tank.
  3. Take out the old filter from the base compartment.
  4. Insert a new Honeywell HCM-610 filter. Ensure it is seated properly.
  5. Reassemble the tank and base.
  6. Reset the filter indicator (if applicable) by pressing and holding the filter button for 3 seconds.

Note: Using a worn filter reduces performance and can lead to mineral deposits (white dust).
