Installation & Setup

Choose Location: Place on a flat, level surface at least 12 inches from walls and furniture. Ensure it is on a waterproof mat or tray if needed.
Install Wick Filter: Remove filter from packaging and soak in cool water for 15-20 minutes. Insert vertically into the filter frame in the base.

First-Time Use

Before first use, clean the tank and base as per cleaning instructions.

Fill Tank: Remove tank from base. Fill with cool, clean water up to the MAX fill line. Replace tank on base.
Power On: Turn the Humidistat knob from "OFF" to desired humidity setting (e.g., 40-60% RH).

Controls and Operation

All controls are located on the front of the base unit.

Humidistat Knob: Rotate from OFF position clockwise to set desired humidity level. The unit will cycle on and off automatically to maintain this level.

Filling the Water Tank

Turn the humidistat knob to OFF and unplug the unit from the electrical outlet.

Turn the tank upside down. Unscrew the tank cap on the bottom.
Fill the tank with cool, clean tap or distilled water up to the MAX fill line. Do not overfill.
Securely screw the tank cap back on.
Turn the tank right-side up and place it back onto the base, ensuring it is seated properly.
Plug the unit back in and turn the humidistat knob to the desired setting.

Tip: Using distilled or demineralized water can reduce white dust and extend wick filter life.

Maintenance & Filter Care

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and air quality.

Wick Filter Replacement: Replace the wick filter every 1-2 months during use, or when the Filter Change Indicator light comes on. Use only Honeywell HEV60A replacement filters.
Replacing the Filter: Turn unit off and unplug. Remove the old filter. Soak the new filter in cool water for 15-20 mins. Insert into the filter frame.
Daily: Check water level and refill as needed.
Weekly: Inspect filter for mineral buildup or discoloration.
