Installation & Setup

Unpack all parts and inspect for damage. Place on a stable, level, waterproof surface.

  1. Choose Location: Place on a flat, level surface at least 12 inches from walls and furniture. Ensure it is on a waterproof mat or tray if needed.
  2. Install Wick Filter: Remove filter from packaging and soak in cool water for 15-20 minutes. Insert vertically into the filter frame in the base.
  3. Assemble Unit: Place the empty water tank onto the base, aligning properly. Ensure it sits securely.
  4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC outlet. Do not use an extension cord.

WARNING! Use only on a stable, waterproof surface. Keep cord away from heated surfaces and out of walkways.

First-Time Use

Before first use, clean the tank and base as per cleaning instructions.

  1. Fill Tank: Remove tank from base. Fill with cool, clean water up to the MAX fill line. Replace tank on base.
  2. Power On: Turn the Humidistat knob from "OFF" to desired humidity setting (e.g., 40-60% RH).
  3. Set Output: Use the OUTPUT knob to select Low (quiet) or High (maximum mist) setting.
  4. Night Light: Press the NIGHT LIGHT button to turn the soft blue light On or Off as desired.
  5. Operation: The unit will begin producing a cool mist. Adjust the humidistat to maintain your comfort level.

CAUTION! Always use clean, cool water. Do not use hot water or add any additives, oils, or fragrances to the water tank.

All controls are located on the front of the base unit.

Humidistat Knob: Rotate from OFF position clockwise to set desired humidity level. The unit will cycle on and off automatically to maintain this level.

Output Control Knob: Turn to select LOW (quiet operation, less mist) or HIGH (more mist output).

Night Light Button: Press to toggle the soft blue night light On or Off.

Filter Change Indicator Light: Illuminates when the wick filter needs replacement (typically every 1-2 months).

Automatic Shut-Off: Built-in safety feature activates when the water tank is empty, turning the unit off.

Filling the Water Tank

  1. Turn the humidistat knob to OFF and unplug the unit from the electrical outlet.
  2. Lift the water tank off the base using the carry handle.
  3. Turn the tank upside down. Unscrew the tank cap on the bottom.
  4. Fill the tank with cool, clean tap or distilled water up to the MAX fill line. Do not overfill.
  5. Securely screw the tank cap back on.
  6. Turn the tank right-side up and place it back onto the base, ensuring it is seated properly.
  7. Plug the unit back in and turn the humidistat knob to the desired setting.

Tip: Using distilled or demineralized water can reduce white dust and extend wick filter life.

CAUTION! Never operate the humidifier without a properly installed wick filter.

Cleaning Instructions

Clean the humidifier at least once a week to prevent mold and bacteria growth.

  1. Unplug and Empty: Turn off, unplug, and remove the water tank. Pour out any remaining water.
  2. Clean Tank: Wash the tank with a mild detergent and warm water. Use a soft brush to scrub interior surfaces. Rinse thoroughly.
  3. Clean Base: Wipe the base interior and exterior with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the base in water.
  4. Descale: To remove mineral deposits, fill the tank with a mixture of 1 cup white vinegar and 1 gallon water. Let sit for 20 minutes, then scrub and rinse thoroughly.
  5. Dry Completely: Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembling and using.

WARNING! Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasives, or detergents not intended for humidifiers. Never immerse the motor base in water.
