Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all parts. Place on a stable, level surface away from walls and electronics.

  1. Remove tank: Lift tank off the base.
  2. Install filter: Remove filter from packaging and insert into the filter compartment in the base.
  3. Fill tank: Turn tank upside down, remove cap, fill with cool tap water up to the fill line. Replace cap securely.
  4. Place tank: Set tank back onto the base, ensuring it is seated properly.
  5. Plug in: Connect power cord to a standard 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not use with damaged cord or plug. Always place on a dry, level surface.

First-Time Use

Power on humidifier; adjust settings for optimal performance.

  1. Set humidity level: Turn the humidistat knob to desired setting (Low to High).
  2. Adjust mist direction: Rotate the nozzle to direct mist away from walls and furniture.
  3. Monitor operation: The unit will begin producing mist. The refill light will be off when tank has water.
  4. Run continuously: For best results, run 24 hours during dry seasons.

CAUTION! Use only clean, cool tap water. Do not add essential oils or other additives directly into the tank.

Tip: For maximum efficiency, place humidifier in the center of the room on a raised surface.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning prevents mold and mineral buildup.

  1. Unplug unit and remove tank.
  2. Empty any remaining water.
  3. Clean tank with a mixture of white vinegar and water (1:1 ratio). Swirl and rinse thoroughly.
  4. Wipe base with a damp cloth; do not submerge.
  5. Clean mist nozzle with a soft brush to remove residue.
  6. Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembly.

CAUTION! Never use harsh chemicals, abrasives, or detergents. Do not immerse motor base in water.

Filter Replacement

Replace filter every 1-2 months or when discolored for optimal performance.

  1. Unplug unit and remove tank.
  2. Open filter compartment on base.
  3. Remove old filter and discard.
  4. Insert new HCM-890F filter, ensuring it sits flat.
  5. Close compartment and reassemble unit.

Note: Using the unit without a filter or with a clogged filter may reduce performance and cause mineral dust.
