Regular cleaning prevents mold and mineral buildup. Clean every 1-2 weeks with regular use.

  1. Unplug the unit and remove the water tank from the base.
  2. Empty any remaining water from the tank and base.
  3. Clean the tank: Fill with a mixture of 1 cup white vinegar and 1 gallon water. Let sit for 20 minutes, then scrub interior with a soft brush. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
  4. Clean the base: Wipe the base reservoir and ultrasonic plate with a cloth dampened with the vinegar solution. Do not submerge the base in water.
  5. Clean the exterior: Wipe the outside of the unit and tank with a damp cloth. Dry completely.
  6. Reassemble: Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling and using.

WARNING! Never use abrasive cleaners, bleach, or detergents. Do not immerse the base in water.

Using Essential Oils

The built-in essential oil tray allows for aromatherapy. Use only 100% pure, water-soluble essential oils.

  1. Ensure the humidifier is turned off and unplugged.
  2. Pull out the essential oil tray located on the front of the unit.
  3. Add 3-5 drops of essential oil directly onto the tray pad. Do not overfill.
  4. Slide the tray back into its slot securely.
  5. Operate the humidifier as normal. The mist will carry the scent.
  6. Clean the oil tray regularly with a cotton swab and rubbing alcohol to prevent clogging.

CAUTION! Never add oils directly to the water tank. This can damage the ultrasonic plate and void the warranty.

When not in use for extended periods, prepare the humidifier for storage.

  1. Unplug the unit and empty all water from the tank and base.
  2. Clean all parts thoroughly as described in the Maintenance section. Allow to air dry completely.
  3. Remove the essential oil tray and clean it separately.
