Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all parts. Place on a flat, stable, waterproof surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from tank and base.
  2. Install the wicking filter: Remove from package, soak in cool water for 15-20 minutes, then insert into filter compartment in base.
  3. Fill the tank: Remove tank from base, unscrew cap, fill with cool, clean tap water (do not use hot water or additives).
  4. Reassemble: Place tank securely back onto base, ensuring proper alignment.
  5. Plug into a standard 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Place humidifier on a level surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and electronic devices. Keep out of reach of children.

First-Time Use

Power on the humidifier and set desired humidity level.

  1. Turn the humidity control dial to the desired setting (Low to High).
  2. Observe mist output from the nozzle; adjust direction as needed.
  3. Allow unit to run for a few minutes to ensure proper operation.
  4. Monitor room humidity; adjust dial as necessary for comfort.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning prevents mold and mineral buildup. Unplug before cleaning.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with a soft, damp cloth.
  2. Weekly: Empty any remaining water, rinse tank with clean water.
  3. Every 2 Weeks: Deep clean tank and base with a mixture of white vinegar and water (1:1 ratio). Soak for 20 minutes, scrub gently, rinse thoroughly.
  4. Monthly: Check filter; replace if discolored or clogged.

CAUTION! Never immerse base unit in water. Do not use abrasive cleaners or chemicals.

Replacing the Filter

The wicking filter should be replaced every 1-2 months, or more frequently in hard water areas.

  1. Unplug unit and remove water tank.
  2. Remove old filter from base compartment.
  3. Soak new filter in cool water for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Insert new filter into compartment, ensuring it sits properly.
  5. Reassemble tank and base.

Note: Use only genuine Honeywell replacement filters (Model HF-120) for optimal performance.
