Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all parts. Place on a flat, stable, level surface away from walls and electronics.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from tank and base.
  2. Install the wick filter: Remove from package, soak in cool water for 15 minutes, then insert into base slot.
  3. Fill the tank with cool, clean water (see Section 6).
  4. Place tank securely onto base, ensuring proper alignment.
  5. Plug power cord into a standard 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Place humidifier on a water-resistant surface. Keep away from children and pets. Do not block mist outlet.

First-Time Use

Before first use, clean tank and base as described in Maintenance section.

  1. Ensure humidifier is unplugged and tank is empty.
  2. Perform initial cleaning with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly.
  3. Install prepared wick filter as described above.
  4. Fill tank with cool water, place on base, and plug in.
  5. Turn power switch ON and adjust humidity control to desired setting.
  6. Allow 15-20 minutes for mist to appear as filter saturates.

CAUTION! Use only clean, cool tap or distilled water. Do not use hot water or additives.

Controls and Operation

Power Switch: Turns humidifier ON/OFF. Humidity Control Dial: Adjusts mist output from LOW to HIGH. Refill Indicator Light: Glows red when water tank is empty or nearly empty.

Operation Steps:

  1. Ensure tank is filled and properly seated.
  2. Plug power cord into outlet.
  3. Turn Power Switch to ON position.
  4. Adjust Humidity Control Dial to desired setting (Low for quiet operation, High for maximum output).
  5. Adjust Mist Outlet grille to direct mist away from walls and furniture.
  6. When Refill Light illuminates, turn unit OFF, unplug, and refill tank.

Automatic Shut-Off: Unit will turn off automatically when tank is empty or removed from base.

Filling the Water Tank

  1. Turn Power Switch OFF and unplug unit.
  2. Lift tank off base using carry handle.
  3. Turn tank upside down and unscrew cap on bottom.
  4. Fill with cool, clean water (tap or distilled) up to MAX fill line. Do not overfill.
  5. Replace cap securely and wipe any spilled water.
  6. Place tank back onto base, ensuring it sits level and firmly.
  7. Plug in and turn ON.

Tip: Use distilled water to minimize mineral deposits and extend filter life.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning prevents mold, bacteria, and mineral buildup.

Daily/Weekly: Wipe exterior with damp cloth. Check water for clarity.

Every 1-2 Weeks (or as needed):

  1. Unplug unit. Remove tank and empty any remaining water.
  2. Disassemble: Remove tank, filter, and any removable parts.
  3. Clean tank and base with mixture of mild soap and warm water. Use soft brush for hard-to-reach areas.
  4. Rinse all parts thoroughly with clean water.
  5. Wipe dry with soft cloth. Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembly.
  6. Reinstall filter and reassemble unit.

CAUTION! Never immerse base unit in water. Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasives, or detergents.

Replacing the Filter

The wick filter (Model HF-20) should be replaced every 1-3 months, depending on water hardness and usage.

  1. Turn unit OFF and unplug.
  2. Remove water tank from base.
  3. Remove old filter from base slot and discard.
  4. Soak new filter in cool water for 15 minutes.
  5. Insert new filter into slot, ensuring it sits flat and fully engaged.
  6. Replace water tank and plug in unit.

Note: A dirty or clogged filter reduces mist output and efficiency. Always have a spare filter on hand.
