Unpack and inspect all contents. Place on a flat, stable, level surface.
WARNING! Place humidifier on a water-resistant surface. Keep away from heat sources and direct sunlight. Do not block mist outlet.
After installation, follow these steps for initial operation.
CAUTION! Use only cool, clean tap water. Do not use hot water, distilled water, or add any chemicals, oils, or fragrances.
Primary control is the Humidity Control Dial on the front of the base unit.
Operation: Turn dial clockwise to increase mist output (HIGH) and counter-clockwise to decrease (LOW). The unit will run continuously until the tank is empty or turned off.
Automatic Shut-Off: The humidifier will automatically turn off when the water tank is empty or if the tank is removed from the base. The power indicator light will remain on as long as the unit is plugged in.
Refilling: When the tank is empty, remove it, refill with cool water, and replace. The unit will resume operation if the dial is in the ON position.
Regular cleaning prevents mold and mineral buildup.
WARNING! Never immerse the base unit, motor, or electrical parts in water. Do not use bleach, detergents, or chemical cleaners.
The wick filter should be replaced every 1-2 months, or more often in hard water areas or with continuous use.
Tip: A dirty or clogged filter will reduce mist output and efficiency. Always use genuine Honeywell replacement filters.
Automatic Shut-Off: Activates when the water tank is empty or improperly seated, preventing the motor from running dry.
Tip-Over Protection: The unit is designed to stop mist output if tipped over.
Cool Mist Operation: No hot water or steam, making it safe for use around children and pets.
When not in use for an extended period, prepare the humidifier for storage.
CAUTION! Never store the unit with water in the tank or base, as this can promote mold and bacterial growth.
