Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all parts. Place on a flat, stable surface away from walls and electronics.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from tank and base.
  2. Install the wicking filter: Remove filter from package and insert into filter slot in base.
  3. Fill the tank: Remove tank from base, open cap, fill with cool tap water to MAX line.
  4. Reassemble: Place tank securely back onto base unit.
  5. Plug into standard 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not use with extension cords. Ensure unit is on a level, waterproof surface.

First-Time Use

Power on humidifier; adjust settings as needed.

  1. Turn humidity control dial to desired setting (Low, Medium, High).
  2. Adjust mist outlet direction towards center of room.
  3. Allow a few minutes for filter to saturate and mist to begin.
  4. Monitor humidity levels; adjust dial as needed for comfort.

CAUTION! Use only clean, cool tap water. Do not add oils, chemicals, or medications to water tank.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning prevents mold and mineral buildup. Clean every 1-2 weeks during use.

  1. Unplug unit and remove water tank.
  2. Empty any remaining water from tank and base.
  3. Clean tank with mild soap and warm water; rinse thoroughly.
  4. Wipe base interior with damp cloth; do not submerge in water.
  5. Clean mist outlet with cotton swab if clogged.
  6. Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembly.

CAUTION! Never use abrasive cleaners, bleach, or harsh chemicals. Do not immerse base in water.

Filter Replacement

Replace wicking filter every 1-2 months or when discolored/mineralized.

  1. Unplug unit and remove water tank.
  2. Remove old filter from base slot.
  3. Insert new HE240F filter (ensure proper orientation).
  4. Reassemble tank and base.
  5. Soak new filter for 15 minutes before first use for optimal performance.

Note: Using the humidifier without a filter or with a damaged filter may cause white dust and reduce efficiency.

Safety Features

Auto Shut-Off: Activates when tank is empty to prevent motor damage. Tip-Over Protection: Unit stops if knocked over. Overheat Protection: Thermal fuse prevents overheating.

Care & Storage

When not in use for extended periods:

  1. Unplug and empty all water from tank and base.
