Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a flat, stable surface away from walls and electronics.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from tank and base.
  2. Install the wicking filter: Remove filter from package, soak in cool water for 15 minutes, then insert into filter tray in base.
  3. Fill the tank: Remove tank from base, unscrew cap, fill with cool tap water to MAX line, replace cap securely.
  4. Place tank back onto base, ensuring it sits firmly.
  5. Plug power cord into a 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Place humidifier on a water-resistant surface. Do not use on carpet or near heat sources.

First-Time Setup

After installation, prepare for operation.

  1. Ensure humidifier is unplugged during initial setup.
  2. Soak filter as directed; improper soaking may reduce efficiency.
  3. Fill tank with cool water only (do not use hot water or additives).
  4. Place unit at least 12 inches from walls and furniture for proper mist dispersion.

Tip: Use distilled water if tap water is very hard to reduce mineral buildup.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning prevents mold and mineral deposits.

  1. Unplug unit and empty tank completely.
  2. Clean tank weekly with mild soap and water; rinse thoroughly.
  3. Wipe base exterior with damp cloth; never immerse base in water.
  4. Remove and rinse filter tray if mineral deposits are visible.
  5. Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembly.
  6. Descale monthly with white vinegar solution (1 part vinegar to 3 parts water) if using hard water.

CAUTION! Do not use abrasive cleaners, bleach, or detergents. Never operate while wet.

Filter Replacement

Replace wicking filter every 1-3 months for optimal performance.

  1. Turn off and unplug humidifier.
  2. Remove water tank and set aside.
  3. Lift out old filter from filter tray and discard.
  4. Soak new filter in cool water for 15 minutes.
  5. Insert soaked filter into tray, ensuring it sits flat.
  6. Replace tank and reset filter indicator light if applicable (press and hold button for 5 seconds).

Note: Using a dirty filter reduces mist output and can cause odors.
