Installation & Setup

  3. Fill tank: Turn tank upside down, remove cap, fill with cool tap water up to fill line. Replace cap tightly.
  4. Reassemble: Place tank back onto base, aligning properly.

WARNING! Use only cool tap water. Do not use hot water, additives, or essential oils unless specified. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.

First-Time Use

Power on humidifier; adjust settings as needed.

  1. Turn control knob to desired mist level (Low, Medium, High).
  2. Allow a few minutes for wick to fully absorb water and mist to appear.
  3. Adjust mist outlet direction toward center of room.

Tip: Use distilled water if white mineral dust appears. Keep unit at least 6 inches from walls for proper airflow.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Regular cleaning prevents mold and mineral buildup.

  1. Unplug unit before cleaning.
  2. Empty any remaining water from tank and base.
  3. Clean tank: Use mild soap and water; rinse thoroughly.
  4. Clean base: Wipe with damp cloth; use vinegar solution (1 part vinegar to 2 parts water) for mineral deposits.
  5. Dry all parts completely before reassembly.
  6. Clean every 1-2 weeks during use.

WARNING! Do not immerse base in water. Never use abrasive cleaners or bleach.

Filter Replacement

Replace wick filter every 1-3 months depending on water hardness and usage.

  2. Remove tank and old filter from base.
  3. Insert new Honeywell HF-260 filter; ensure it seats fully.
  4. Reassemble tank and base.

Care & Storage
