Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a flat, stable, waterproof surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from tank and base.
  2. Install the wicking filter: Remove filter from package, soak in cool water for 15 minutes, then insert into filter frame in base.
  3. Fill the tank: Remove tank cap, fill with cool tap water up to MAX line, replace cap securely.
  4. Place tank onto base, ensuring it sits firmly.
  5. Plug power cord into a standard 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Use only cool, clean tap water. Do not use hot water, additives, or essential oils. Keep away from children.

First-Time Use

Power on humidifier; adjust settings as needed.

  1. Turn the humidity control dial to desired mist level (Low/Medium/High).
  2. Adjust the 360-degree nozzle to direct mist away from walls and furniture.
  3. Allow a few minutes for the filter to fully saturate and mist to appear.
  4. Monitor room humidity; adjust dial as needed for comfort.

CAUTION! Place on a level surface at least 12 inches from walls. Do not block air inlet or outlet.

Controls and Operation

Primary control: Humidity Control Dial (Off, Low, Medium, High).

Operation: Turn dial to desired setting. The power indicator light will illuminate. Mist output will begin shortly after. Adjust nozzle direction as needed.

Automatic Shut-Off: Unit will turn off when water tank is empty or if tank is lifted from base. Indicator light will turn off.

Refilling: Unplug unit, remove tank, refill with cool water to MAX line, replace tank, and plug back in. Unit will resume at previous setting.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning prevents mold and mineral buildup. Clean every 1-2 weeks during use.

  1. Unplug unit and remove tank.
  2. Empty any remaining water from tank and base.
  3. Clean tank with mild dish soap and warm water; rinse thoroughly.
  4. Wipe base interior with a soft cloth dampened with a mixture of 1 teaspoon white vinegar and 1 gallon water. Do not submerge base.
  5. Rinse all parts with clean water and air dry completely before reassembly.

CAUTION! Never use abrasive cleaners, bleach, or detergents. Do not immerse motor unit in water.

Filter Replacement

Replace wicking filter every 1-2 months, or more often in hard water areas.

  1. Unplug unit and remove tank.
  2. Remove old filter from frame in base.
  3. Soak new HE260B filter in cool water for 15 minutes.
  4. Insert soaked filter into frame, ensuring it sits flat.
  5. Reassemble tank and base.

Tip: Using distilled water can extend filter life. Always use genuine Honeywell replacement filters.

Safety Features

Automatic Shut-Off: Activates when tank is empty or improperly seated. Tip-Over Protection: Unit is designed to minimize spillage if tipped. Overheating Protection: Motor includes thermal cutoff.

Care & Storage

When not in use for extended periods:

  1. Unplug, empty, and thoroughly clean all parts as described.
