Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on flat, stable surface away from walls and electronics.

  1. Remove tank: Lift tank off base unit.
  2. Install wick filter: Insert filter into base, ensuring it sits properly.
  3. Fill tank: Remove cap, fill with cool tap water up to fill line, replace cap securely.
  4. Replace tank: Place tank back on base, ensuring it seats firmly.
  5. Plug into AC power outlet.

WARNING! Use only cool tap water. Do not use hot water or additives. Place on water-resistant surface.

First-Time Use

Power on humidifier; adjust settings as needed.

  1. Turn control knob to desired mist level (Low to High).
  2. Allow a few minutes for wick to fully absorb water.
  3. Adjust mist outlet direction as needed.
  4. Monitor humidity levels; adjust knob for comfort.

CAUTION! Ensure tank cap is tight to prevent leaks. Do not block mist outlet.

Operation: Turn knob clockwise to increase mist output, counterclockwise to decrease. Mist outlet can be rotated to direct moisture flow.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning prevents mold and mineral buildup.

  1. Unplug unit and remove tank.
  2. Empty any remaining water.
  3. Clean tank with mild soap and water; rinse thoroughly.
  4. Wipe base with damp cloth; do not immerse in water.
  5. Dry all parts completely before reassembly.
  6. Clean every 1-2 weeks with regular use.

Tip: Use vinegar solution (1 part vinegar to 3 parts water) to descale if mineral deposits appear.

Replacing the Filter

Replace wick filter every 1-2 months or when discolored/stiff.

  1. Unplug unit and remove tank.
  2. Remove old filter from base.
  3. Insert new HF-265 filter, ensuring it sits flat.
  4. Reassemble tank and base.
  5. Run unit for 15 minutes to prime new filter.

WARNING! Do not operate without filter. Use only Honeywell HF-265 replacement filters.
