Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all contents. Place on a flat, stable, level surface away from walls and electronics.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from the humidifier and tank.
  2. Install the wick filter: Remove filter from plastic, soak in water for 15 minutes, then insert into the base unit.
  3. Fill the water tank: Carry tank to sink, remove cap, fill with cool tap water, replace cap securely.
  4. Place tank on base: Align tank with base and set it down firmly until it clicks into place.
  5. Plug into a 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Place on a water-resistant surface. Do not place on carpets or near heat sources. Ensure unit is upright before plugging in.

First-Time Use

Power on the humidifier; set your desired humidity level and fan speed.

  1. Press the POWER button to turn the unit on.
  2. Set desired humidity: Press the HUMIDISTAT button to cycle between 30%, 40%, 50%, 60%, or AUTO.
  3. Select fan speed: Press the FAN button to choose Low, Medium, or High.
  4. Allow 15-20 minutes for the unit to begin producing visible moisture output.
  5. The digital display will show current room humidity and set point.

CAUTION! Use only clean, cool tap water. Do not use hot water, additives, or essential oils. Ensure the wick filter is properly soaked and installed.

Operation Guide

For daily operation, maintain desired humidity and monitor water level.

  1. Daily: Check water level via the tank view window or Refill Indicator light.
  2. Refilling: Unplug unit, lift tank off base, carry to sink, refill with cool water, replace on base.
  3. Humidity Adjustment: Use HUMIDISTAT button to increase/decrease set point based on comfort.
  4. Fan Speed: Adjust for noise preference and moisture output. High speed for rapid humidification.
  5. Auto Mode: Set humidistat to AUTO; unit will cycle on/off to maintain optimal 45-50% RH.

Tip: Ideal indoor humidity is between 40% and 50% for comfort and health. Use a separate hygrometer to verify room humidity.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning prevents mold, mineral buildup, and ensures efficient operation.

  1. Weekly Cleaning: Unplug unit. Remove tank and base tray. Wash tank and tray with mild dish soap and warm water. Rinse thoroughly. Wipe exterior with a damp cloth.
  2. Descaling (Monthly or as needed): For hard water areas, clean mineral deposits with a solution of 1 cup white vinegar and 1 gallon water. Soak affected parts for 20 minutes, then scrub gently. Rinse thoroughly.
  3. Dry Thoroughly: Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembling.
  4. Storage: If not using for extended periods, clean thoroughly, remove and discard wick filter, dry all parts, and store in a cool, dry place.

WARNING! Never immerse the main base unit in water or any liquid. Do not use abrasive cleaners, bleach, or chemicals.

Filter Replacement

The wick filter should be replaced every 1-2 months during the heating season, or when visibly scaled or discolored.

  1. Unplug the humidifier and remove the water tank.
  2. Remove the old wick filter from the base unit and discard it.
  3. Take the new filter (HE360A1000) out of its packaging.
  4. Soak the new filter in cool water for 15 minutes.
  5. Insert the soaked filter into the base, ensuring it is seated properly around the drum.

  8. Press and hold the FILTER RESET button for 3 seconds to reset the filter indicator light.
