Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning prevents mold and mineral buildup. Clean every 1-2 weeks during use.

  1. Unplug the unit from the electrical outlet.
  2. Empty any remaining water from the tank and base.
  3. Clean Tank: Fill tank with 1 quart of white vinegar and cool water. Swirl, then let sit for 20 minutes. Scrub interior with a soft brush. Rinse thoroughly.

  5. Rinse & Dry: Rinse all parts with clean water and allow to air dry completely before reassembly.

Tip: Using distilled water can reduce mineral deposits and cleaning frequency.

The wick filter should be replaced every 1-3 months, or when visibly scaled or discolored.

  1. Unplug the unit and remove the water tank.
  2. Remove the old wick filter from the base frame.
