Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all parts. Place on a flat, stable, level surface away from walls and electronics.

  1. Remove the water tank and base from packaging.
  2. Install the wicking filter: Remove from packaging, soak in cool water for 15 minutes, then insert into filter compartment.
  3. Fill the tank with clean, cool tap water. Do not use hot water or additives.
  4. Place tank securely onto base, ensuring it is properly seated.
  5. Plug power cord into a grounded 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Place humidifier on a water-resistant surface. Keep away from children. Do not operate without water or filter installed.

First-Time Use

Power on the humidifier; the digital display will illuminate.

  1. Set desired humidity: Press HUMIDITY button, then use +/- to set target (30%-60% recommended).
  2. Select mist output: Press SPEED button to choose High, Medium, Low, or Quiet mode.
  3. Set timer (optional): Press TIMER, then use +/- to set auto shut-off duration (1-24 hours).
  4. Monitor display: Current room humidity will be shown. The humidifier will run until target is reached.

CAUTION! Use only clean, cool water. Never add essential oils or chemicals to the water tank.

  6. For continuous operation, ensure timer is off and tank is refilled regularly.

Tip: Ideal indoor humidity is 30%-50%. Use a hygrometer to monitor room conditions.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning prevents mineral buildup and microbial growth.

  1. Unplug the humidifier before cleaning.
  2. Empty and rinse the water tank daily.
  3. Clean tank weekly with a mixture of white vinegar and water (1:1), rinse thoroughly.
  4. Wipe the base and exterior with a damp, soft cloth. Do not immerse in water.
  5. Check and clean the humidity sensor (located on front grille) with a dry cloth.
  6. Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembly.

WARNING! Never use abrasive cleaners, bleach, or detergents. Always unplug before maintenance.

Filter Replacement

Replace the wicking filter every 1-3 months, or as needed based on water hardness and usage.

  1. Turn off and unplug the humidifier.
  2. Remove the water tank and empty any remaining water.
  3. Open the filter compartment door on the base.
  4. Remove the old filter and dispose of it properly.
  5. Soak the new filter (Model HF460) in cool water for 15 minutes.
  6. Insert the new filter into the compartment, ensuring it is seated correctly.
  7. Close the compartment door, refill tank, and resume operation.

Note: Using the unit without a filter or with a clogged filter can reduce performance and cause damage.

Care & Storage

When not in use for extended periods, prepare the humidifier for storage.

  1. Unplug the unit and empty all water from tank and base.
  2. Clean thoroughly as per maintenance instructions. Allow all parts to dry completely.
  3. Remove and discard the used filter. Do not store with a wet filter.
  4. Store the unit in its original packaging or a clean, dry place.
  5. Before next use, install a new filter and perform a cleaning cycle.
