Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all parts. Place on a flat, level surface away from walls and electronics.

  1. Remove tank: Lift tank off base unit by the handle.
  2. Install filter: Remove filter from packaging and insert into filter frame in base.
  3. Fill tank: Turn tank upside down, remove cap, fill with cool tap water, replace cap securely.
  4. Replace tank: Place filled tank back onto base, ensuring it seats properly.
  5. Plug into AC power: Use the provided power cord and a 120V outlet.

WARNING! Do not use with damaged cord or plug. Ensure unit is on a stable, waterproof surface.

First-Time Use

Power on the humidifier; the digital display will illuminate.

  1. Set desired humidity: Press HUMIDITY button to select target level (30%-60%).
  2. Select mist output: Use the SPEED button to choose Low, Medium, or High.
  3. Set timer (optional): Press TIMER to program automatic shut-off in 1-24 hour increments.
  4. Enable quiet mode: Press QUIET button for reduced noise during sleep.

Operation Modes

  3. Timer Mode: Program unit to run for a set period (1-24 hours) before automatically shutting off.

Tip: Use Auto Mode for consistent comfort and energy efficiency.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning prevents mold and mineral buildup. Unplug before any maintenance.

  1. Daily: Refill tank with fresh water.
  2. Weekly: Clean tank and base with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly.
  3. Bi-Weekly (or as needed): Descale tank and base using a mixture of white vinegar and water (1:1). Soak for 20 minutes, scrub, rinse.
  4. Monthly: Replace the wicking filter (see Filter Replacement section).

WARNING! Never immerse the base unit in water. Do not use abrasive cleaners or bleach.

Filter Replacement

The wicking filter should be replaced every 1-2 months, or more often in hard water areas.

  1. Unplug unit and remove water tank.
  2. Open the filter compartment door on the base.
  3. Remove the old filter and dispose of it.
  4. Insert new Honeywell HE460B filter (Model HF-460). Ensure it is seated flat.
  5. Close the compartment door, replace tank, and plug in unit.

Note: Using non-genuine filters may reduce performance and void warranty.
