Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on level, stable surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from humidifier and tank.
  2. Install wick filter: Remove from packaging and insert into base unit.
  3. Fill water tank: Use clean, cool tap water. Do not use hot water or additives.
  4. Place tank on base: Ensure tank is securely seated.
  5. Plug into standard 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Place humidifier on a waterproof mat or towel to protect surface. Keep away from heat sources and electronics.

Operation Steps:

  1. Press Power button to turn on humidifier.
  2. Set desired humidity level using humidistat dial.
  3. Select fan speed: High for faster humidification, Low for quiet operation.
  4. Unit will run until desired humidity is reached, then cycle on/off automatically.
  5. Clean tank light will illuminate when maintenance is required.

Tip: Ideal indoor humidity is 30-50%. Use humidistat to maintain comfort level.

Filling the Water Tank

Top-fill design allows easy refilling without removing tank.

  1. Turn off and unplug humidifier.
  2. Open top-fill cap on tank.
  3. Fill with clean, cool tap water. Do not overfill.
  4. Close cap securely.
  5. If removed, replace tank on base ensuring proper alignment.

CAUTION! Use only clean, cool water. Do not use distilled water unless specified. Never add essential oils or chemicals.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning prevents mold and mineral buildup.

  1. Unplug humidifier before cleaning.
  2. Empty and rinse tank daily.
  3. Clean base unit weekly with mild detergent and soft cloth.
  4. Remove mineral deposits with white vinegar solution (1 part vinegar to 2 parts water).
  5. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reassembly.

WARNING! Never immerse base unit in water. Do not use abrasive cleaners.

Replacing the Wick Filter

Replace wick filter every 1-2 months or when visibly dirty.

  1. Turn off and unplug humidifier.
  2. Remove water tank.
  3. Remove old wick filter from base.
  4. Insert new wick filter, ensuring proper orientation.
  5. Replace tank and resume operation.

Note: Use only genuine Honeywell replacement filters (Model HF-20).

Safety Features
