Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all components. Place on a level, stable surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from the unit and tank.
  2. Install the wick filter: Remove from packaging and insert into the filter slot in the base.
  3. Fill the water tank: Carry to sink, remove cap, fill with cool tap water, replace cap securely.
  4. Place tank on base: Align tank with base and press down until it clicks into place.
  5. Plug into a 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not operate without water in the tank. Always use two hands when carrying filled tank to prevent spills.

First-Time Use

Power on the humidifier; set initial preferences.

WARNING! Never immerse base in water. Do not use harsh chemicals, bleach, or abrasive cleaners.

Filter Replacement

Replace wick filter every 1-3 months depending on water hardness and usage.

  1. Unplug unit and remove tank.
  2. Remove old filter from base slot.
  3. Insert new filter (model HWF-HEV685B).
  4. Press FILTER RESET button on control panel to reset indicator.
  5. Reassemble and refill with water.
