Installation & Setup

Unpack all components and inspect for damage. Place unit on a level, stable, waterproof surface.

  1. Remove the water tank: Lift by the handle and set aside.
  2. Install the wick filter: Remove from packaging, soak in cool water for 15 minutes, then insert into the filter frame in the base.
  3. Replace the tank: Align tank with base and lower into position.
  4. Choose location: Place at least 12 inches from walls and furniture for proper airflow.
  5. Plug into a 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Use only clean, cool tap water. Do not use hot water, additives, or essential oils. Ensure unit is on a flat surface to prevent tipping.

First-Time Use

Power on the humidifier; the digital display will illuminate.

  1. Fill the tank: Remove the cap on top, fill with cool water up to the MAX line, replace cap.
  2. Set desired humidity: Press the HUMIDITY button to select a level (30%-60% recommended).
  3. Select fan speed: Press SPEED to cycle through Low, Medium, High, or Auto mode.
  4. Enable UV light: Press the UV button to activate the antimicrobial feature (indicator light will be on).
  5. Allow 10-15 minutes for the wick to fully saturate and moisture output to begin.

CAUTION! Do not operate without the wick filter installed. Never tilt or move the unit while it is operating or contains water.

All controls are located on the digital panel. Front Panel: POWER, SPEED, HUMIDITY, UV, FILTER RESET.

Display Indicators: Current Room Humidity %, Set Humidity %, Fan Speed Icon, UV On Icon, Refill Alert, Filter Change Alert.

Humidity Setting: Adjust between 30% and 60% in 5% increments. Auto Mode: Unit monitors room humidity and adjusts fan speed automatically to maintain set level. Manual Mode: Select Low, Medium, or High fan speed. UV Light: Press to turn On/Off; recommended for continuous use. Filter Reset: Hold for 3 seconds after replacing filter to reset the indicator.

Operation Modes

Auto Mode: Set desired humidity; unit auto-selects fan speed. Manual Mode: Choose fan speed independently of room humidity.

  1. For constant moisture: Use High speed in dry conditions.
  2. For quiet nighttime operation: Use Low speed or Auto mode.
  3. For energy efficiency: Use Auto mode to let the unit cycle on/off as needed.

Tip: Ideal indoor humidity is between 40% and 50% for comfort and to reduce static electricity.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning prevents mold and mineral buildup.

  1. Daily: Refill with fresh water. Do not let water sit for more than 48 hours.
  2. Weekly Cleaning: Unplug unit. Empty tank and base. Clean tank with mild dish soap and warm water. Rinse thoroughly. Wipe exterior with a damp cloth.
  3. Monthly Deep Clean: Create a solution of 1 cup white vinegar and 1 gallon water. Fill base and let soak for 20 minutes. Scrub with a soft brush. Rinse multiple times until vinegar smell is gone.
  4. UV Light Chamber: Wipe the clear UV chamber with a soft, dry cloth every month. Do not use liquids on the UV component.

WARNING! Always unplug before cleaning. Never immerse the base, control panel, or power cord in water.

Filter Replacement

The wicking filter (HF-60) should be replaced every 1-3 months depending on water hardness and usage. The FILTER indicator light will illuminate when replacement is due.

  1. Unplug the humidifier and remove the water tank.
  2. Remove the old filter from the base frame.
  3. Soak the new filter in cool water for 15 minutes.
  4. Insert the new filter into the frame, ensuring it is seated properly.
  5. Replace the tank and plug in the unit.
  6. Press and hold the FILTER RESET button for 3 seconds to reset the indicator.

Note: Using a demineralization cartridge (optional) can extend filter life in hard water areas.
