WARNING! Use only clean, cool water. Do not use hot water or add oils, chemicals, or medications to the water tank. Place humidifier on a water-resistant surface.

First-Time Use

After installation, follow these steps for initial operation.

  1. Position the humidifier: Place at least 12 inches away from walls and furniture on a level surface.
  2. Adjust mist output: Turn the control knob to desired setting (Low for quiet operation, High for maximum moisture).
  3. Direct the mist nozzle: Point away from walls, electronics, and direct airflow onto people.
  4. Monitor humidity: Ideal indoor humidity is between 30% and 50%.

CAUTION! Do not block mist outlet. Ensure unit is upright before plugging in. Never operate without water or filter properly installed.

Specifications

Controls and Operation

Simple knob control for mist adjustment. Power indicator light shows unit is on.

Control Knob: Turn clockwise to increase mist output, counterclockwise to decrease. Fully counterclockwise to OFF.

Operation Tips: For best performance, use distilled or demineralized water to reduce white dust. Refill tank when empty (unit will shut off automatically). Adjust mist level based on room humidity—lower setting maintains humidity, higher setting increases it quickly.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning prevents mold, bacteria, and mineral buildup.

  1. Daily: Empty and rinse tank if not in use for more than 24 hours.
  2. Weekly: Clean tank and base with a mixture of white vinegar and water (1:1 ratio). Scrub with soft brush, rinse thoroughly.
  3. Monthly: Deep clean all parts. Disassemble, soak in vinegar solution for 20 minutes, rinse, air dry completely.
  4. Always unplug unit before cleaning.

Tip: Never use abrasive cleaners, bleach, or detergents. Dry all parts completely before reassembly to prevent mildew.

Filter Replacement

Replace wicking filter every 1-2 months or as needed depending on water hardness and usage.

  1. Unplug humidifier and remove water tank.
  2. Remove old filter from base.
  3. Soak new filter in cool water for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Insert new filter into base, ensuring it sits properly.
  5. Reassemble tank and base.

WARNING! Do not operate without a filter. A dirty or clogged filter reduces performance and can cause motor damage.

Safety Features

Automatic Shut-Off: Turns off when water tank is empty or removed. Overheat Protection: Motor protection if unit overheats. Tip-Over Protection: Some models may include safety switch if unit tips over.

Care & Storage

When not in use for extended periods:

  1. Unplug unit.
  2. Empty and thoroughly clean all parts (see Cleaning section).
  3. Allow all parts to air dry completely.
  4. Remove and discard old filter.
  5. Store in original box or protective cover in a cool, dry place.

CAUTION! Never store with water in tank. Ensure unit is completely dry to prevent mold growth.
