Specifications

Controls and Operation

Main controls are located on the front of the unit.

Control Knob: Combined power and humidistat control. Turn clockwise to increase humidity setting and fan speed. The unit powers on when turned from OFF position.

Mist Output Nozzle: Rotate 360 degrees to direct mist flow.

Indicator Light: Blue light indicates unit is on. Red Refill Light illuminates when tank is empty.

Operation Modes: HIGH (maximum mist output), LOW (quiet, lower mist output).

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning prevents mold and mineral buildup. Clean every 1-2 weeks during use.

  1. Unplug the unit.
  2. Remove water tank and empty any remaining water.
  3. Clean tank: Fill with a mixture of 1 teaspoon of white vinegar and 1 gallon of water. Swirl and let sit for 20 minutes. Scrub with a soft brush, rinse thoroughly.
  4. Clean base: Wipe interior surfaces with a cloth dampened with the vinegar solution. Do not submerge the base in water.
  5. Rinse all parts with clean water and air dry completely before reassembly.

Tip: Use distilled or demineralized water to significantly reduce cleaning frequency and white dust.

Filter Replacement

The wicking filter (Model HWF350) should be replaced every 1-2 months, or when discolored or clogged.

  1. Unplug unit and remove water tank.
  2. Lift out the old filter from the filter frame in the base.
  3. Soak the new filter in cool water for 15 minutes before installation.
  4. Insert the new filter into the frame, ensuring it is seated properly.
  5. Reassemble the unit and run on high for a few minutes to prime the filter.

WARNING! Never operate the humidifier without a filter installed. This can cause over-humidification and damage the unit.

Demineralization Cartridge

Optional Demineralization Cartridge (Model HD100) reduces white dust caused by minerals in hard water.

  1. Purchase the HD100 cartridge separately.
  2. Insert cartridge into the dedicated slot inside the base, next to the filter.
  3. Replace cartridge every 2-3 months, or as indicated by reduced performance or visible sediment.

Note: The cartridge is an accessory and may not be included with the base unit.
