Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all parts. Place on a flat, stable surface away from walls and electronics.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from tank and base.
  2. Install wicking filter: Remove filter from package, insert into filter frame in base.
  3. Fill water tank: Use clean, cool tap water. Do not use hot water or additives.
  4. Place tank on base: Align tank with base, ensure it sits securely.
  5. Plug into standard 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Place on a level, waterproof surface. Keep away from children. Do not block air inlet or outlet.

First-Time Use

Power on humidifier; set desired humidity level.

  1. Fill tank with clean, cool water.
  2. Place tank on base; ensure proper alignment.
  3. Plug power cord into outlet.
  4. Turn Power Switch to ON position.
  5. Adjust Humidistat Control Knob to desired humidity level (Low to High).

Operation: Turn Power Switch ON. Adjust Humidistat to desired setting. Higher settings increase fan speed and moisture output. Refill Indicator Light illuminates when water level is low. Unit will auto shut-off when tank is empty.

Optimal Settings: For sleeping, use Low setting. For dry days, use Medium to High. Maintain indoor humidity between 40-60% for comfort.

Filling the Water Tank

Top-fill design allows easy refilling without removing tank.

  1. Turn Power Switch OFF.
  2. Open top fill cap on tank.
  3. Pour clean, cool water directly into opening. Use pitcher if needed.
  4. Close fill cap securely.
  5. If tank was removed, realign and place back on base.
  6. Turn Power Switch ON; humidifier resumes operation.

Tip: Refill when Indicator Light turns on. Use distilled water to reduce mineral buildup if water is hard.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning prevents mold and mineral deposits.

  1. Unplug unit from outlet.
  2. Remove water tank and empty any remaining water.
  3. Clean tank with mild soap and water; rinse thoroughly.
  4. Wipe base interior with damp cloth; do not submerge base.
  5. Clean exterior with soft, dry cloth.
  6. Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembly.

CAUTION! Never use abrasive cleaners, bleach, or solvents. Do not immerse base in water.

Filter Replacement

Replace wicking filter every 1-3 months depending on usage and water hardness.

  1. Unplug unit and remove water tank.
  2. Remove old filter from filter frame in base.
  3. Insert new filter into frame; ensure it sits flat.
  4. Reinstall water tank and plug in unit.
  5. Run on High for 10 minutes to condition new filter.

Note: Use only genuine Honeywell replacement filters (Part #HWF-110). A dirty or clogged filter reduces performance.
