Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning prevents mold and mineral buildup. Clean every 1-2 weeks during use.

  1. Unplug the unit from the electrical outlet.
  2. Empty any remaining water from the tank and base.
  3. Disassemble: Remove the water tank and demineralization cartridge from the base.
  4. Clean Tank: Wash tank with mild dish soap and warm water. Rinse thoroughly. Do not submerge base in water.
  5. Clean Base: Wipe the base interior and exterior with a damp cloth. Use a soft brush to clean the mist nozzle if clogged.
  6. Descale (if needed): For mineral deposits, use a mixture of white vinegar and water (1:1). Soak affected parts for 20 minutes, then scrub gently. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
  7. Dry Completely: Allow all parts to air dry before reassembling and storing or reusing.

WARNING! Never use harsh chemicals, abrasives, or detergents. Unplug before cleaning.

  4. Remove the new cartridge from its packaging and insert it fully into the slot.
  5. Reassemble the unit and fill with water. Run for 5 minutes before normal use to prime the new cartridge.

Note: Using the demineralization cartridge is recommended, especially in areas with hard water.

Safety Features

Auto Shut-Off: The unit will automatically power off when the water tank is empty, preventing damage to the motor.
