Controls and Settings

All controls are located on the front panel of the humidifier.

Fan Speed Control Dial: Rotate to select Low, Medium, or High fan speed. Higher speeds produce more moisture output and airflow noise.

Humidistat Knob: Adjust to set desired room humidity level. The humidifier will run until the set humidity is reached, then cycle off automatically. Turn knob clockwise to increase humidity setting.

Refill Indicator Light: Illuminates when the water tank is empty, signaling that the tank needs to be refilled.

Power Indicator: A small light confirms the unit is receiving power when plugged in and turned on.

Operation Guide

For daily use and optimal performance.

  1. Ensure the unit is on a level, stable surface.
  2. Fill the tank with clean, cool tap water and place it securely on the base.
  3. Plug the power cord into an outlet.
  4. Set the desired humidity level using the humidistat knob.
  5. Select the appropriate fan speed for your needs.
  6. The unit will begin operation. Mist output will be visible from the top grille.
  7. When the refill indicator lights, unplug the unit, remove the tank, refill, and replace.
  8. To turn off, unplug from the electrical outlet.

Tip: For best results, place the humidifier at least 12 inches away from walls and furniture. Use in a room with the door closed for faster humidity increase.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning prevents mineral buildup and ensures efficient operation.

  1. Daily: Refill tank with fresh water. Do not let water sit in tank for extended periods.
  2. Weekly: Clean the water tank and base. Unplug unit. Remove tank. Wipe interior of tank and base with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse base in water.
  3. Monthly/As Needed: Deep clean to remove scale. Use a solution of white vinegar and water (1:1 ratio) to soak and wipe mineral deposits from tank and base. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
  4. Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembling and using.

WARNING! Always unplug the unit before cleaning. Never use abrasive cleaners, brushes, or chemicals. Do not allow water to enter the motor or electrical components in the base.

Filter Replacement

The antimicrobial wicking filter should be replaced at least once per season, or more often if used frequently or with hard water.

  1. Unplug the humidifier and remove the water tank.
  2. Lift out the old filter from the base.
  3. Insert the new filter (Honeywell replacement part #HWF750). Ensure it is fully seated and the edges are aligned with the base.
  4. Replace the water tank and plug in the unit.
  5. Run the humidifier on High for 10-15 minutes to prime the new filter.

Note: A dirty or clogged filter will reduce moisture output and efficiency. Never operate the humidifier without a filter installed.
