Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all parts. Place on a flat, level surface away from walls and electronics.

  1. Remove tank: Lift tank off base unit.
  2. Install filter & cartridge: Insert wick filter into base; place demineralization cartridge in its slot.
  3. Fill tank: Take tank to sink, remove cap, fill with cool tap water up to fill line. Replace cap securely.
  4. Assemble: Place tank back onto base, ensuring it sits firmly.
  5. Plug in: Connect power cord to outlet.

WARNING! Use only cool tap water. Do not use hot water, additives, or essential oils. Keep cord away from water.

First-Time Use

After setup, turn the control knob to desired mist setting.

  1. Power on: Plug in unit; indicator light will illuminate.
  2. Set mist level: Turn knob clockwise for higher output, counterclockwise for lower/quiet mode.
  3. Aim mist: Adjust outlet nozzle direction as needed.
  4. Monitor humidity: Run for several hours; adjust setting based on room comfort.

CAUTION! Place on a waterproof mat or tray if needed. Do not block mist outlet.

Control Knob: Rotate to adjust mist output. Power Indicator: LED shows unit is on. Mist Outlet: Adjustable direction.

Operation Modes: High (full mist output), Medium, Low/Quiet (nighttime). Automatic Shut-Off: Activates when tank is empty; indicator light may blink.

To turn off: Rotate knob fully counterclockwise to "OFF" position, then unplug.

Filling the Water Tank

Refill when tank is low or unit shuts off automatically.

  1. Turn knob to OFF and unplug unit.
  2. Lift tank off base and carry to sink.
  3. Remove cap, pour out any remaining water.
  4. Fill with cool tap water up to fill line. Do not overfill.
  5. Replace cap tightly, ensuring seal is secure.
  6. Place tank back on base, plug in, and turn knob to desired setting.

Tip: Use distilled water if tap water is very hard to reduce mineral buildup.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning prevents mold and mineral deposits. Clean every 1-2 weeks during use.

  1. Unplug unit and empty all water.
  2. Separate tank from base.
  3. Clean tank: Use mild soap and soft brush; rinse thoroughly.
  4. Clean base: Wipe interior with damp cloth; use vinegar solution (1 part white vinegar to 2 parts water) for mineral deposits. Rinse well.
  5. Air dry all parts completely before reassembly.

WARNING! Never immerse base in water. Do not use abrasive cleaners or bleach.

Replacing the Filter & Cartridge

Replace wick filter every 1-2 months; replace demineralization cartridge every 2-3 months, or as needed.

  1. Unplug and empty unit.
  2. Remove tank and old filter/cartridge.
  3. Insert new wick filter into slot in base.
  4. Place new demineralization cartridge into its holder.
  5. Reassemble and refill with water.

Note: Use only Honeywell Genuine Replacement Filters (Part #HUL525FIL) and Cartridges (Part #HUL525CAR).

Care & Storage

When not in use for extended periods, prepare for storage.

  1. Unplug, empty, and clean all parts thoroughly.
  2. Allow all components to dry completely.
  3. Remove and discard old filter/cartridge.
  4. Store in original box or breathable bag in a cool, dry place.

CAUTION! Do not store with water in tank. Ensure unit is completely dry to prevent mold.
