Controls and Settings

Main controls are located on the base unit.

Power Switch: Turns the unit on and off.
Humidity Control Dial: Rotate to adjust mist output (Low, Medium, High).
360-Degree Mist Outlet: Nozzle can be rotated to direct mist flow.
Refill Indicator Light: Illuminates when the water tank is low and needs refilling.
Filter Change Indicator: A reminder icon or light (if equipped) signals when to replace the wicking filter.

For optimal humidity (30-50%), start on a medium setting and adjust based on room conditions.

Operation Guide

Daily operation is simple. Ensure the tank is filled and the filter is in place.

  1. Turn the Power Switch to the ON position.
  2. Set the Humidity Control Dial to your preferred setting.
  3. Adjust the mist outlet direction as needed.
  4. When the Refill Light turns on, turn off the unit, unplug it, and refill the tank.
  5. After refilling, plug in and turn the unit back on.

Tip: For best performance, use demineralization cartridges or distilled water in areas with hard water to reduce white dust and extend filter life.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Regular cleaning prevents mold and mineral buildup. Clean every 1-2 weeks during use.

  1. Unplug the unit. Remove the water tank from the base.
  2. Clean the Tank: Empty any remaining water. Wash the inside with a mild detergent and a soft brush or cloth. Rinse thoroughly.
  3. Clean the Base: Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. For the interior reservoir, use a mixture of 1 cup white vinegar and 1 gallon water. Let sit for 20 minutes, then scrub gently and rinse.
  4. Dry Completely: Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembling and storing or reusing.

WARNING! Never immerse the base unit, motor, or electrical parts in water. Do not use abrasive cleaners or brushes.

Filter Replacement

The wicking filter (HRF20) should be replaced every 1-2 months, or more often with hard water.

  1. Turn off and unplug the humidifier. Remove the tank.
  2. Remove the old filter from the filter cage in the base.
  3. Soak the new filter in cool water for 15 minutes.
  4. Insert the new, soaked filter into the cage.
  5. Reassemble the tank and base, then plug in and resume use.

Note: Using the humidifier without a filter or with an old, clogged filter can reduce performance and cause mineral dust.

Safety Information

Read all instructions before use.
