Specifications

Controls and Settings

Primary control is the Humidistat Dial on the front of the unit.

Humidistat Dial: Turn clockwise to increase mist output (HIGH) and counter-clockwise to decrease (LOW). Setting it to the minimum position turns the fan off.

360° Mist Nozzle: Manually rotate to direct mist flow.

Essential Oil Tray: Slide out, add a few drops of oil, and slide back in. Do not add oil directly to the water tank.

Power Indicator Light: Blue LED illuminates when unit is plugged in and operational.

Operation Guide

For daily operation, maintain proper water level and humidity settings.

  1. Check water level daily. Refill when tank is empty or low.
  2. Adjust the humidistat based on room conditions and comfort.
  3. Use the essential oil tray sparingly; excessive oil can clog the unit.
  4. If not using for extended periods, empty the tank and base, clean thoroughly, and store dry.

Tip: For best performance, use in a room with doors closed. Ideal humidity level is between 40% and 60%.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning prevents mold, mineral buildup, and ensures efficient operation.

  1. Daily: Refill with fresh water. Wipe exterior with a damp cloth.
  2. Weekly: Empty any remaining water. Clean the tank and base with a mixture of white vinegar and water (1:1 ratio) to descale. Rinse thoroughly.
  3. Monthly: Replace the wicking filter (see Filter Replacement section).
  4. Always unplug the unit before cleaning. Never immerse the base unit in water.

WARNING! Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasives, or detergents. Do not allow water to enter the motor or electrical parts.

Filter Replacement

The wicking filter should be replaced every 1-2 months, or more often if you have hard water.

  1. Unplug the humidifier and remove the water tank.
  2. Remove the old filter from the filter frame in the base.
  3. Insert the new filter (Honeywell part #HRF-10 or equivalent). Ensure it is seated flat.
  4. Reassemble the tank and base. Soak the new filter for 15-20 minutes before first use for optimal performance.

Note: Using the humidifier without a filter or with an old filter can reduce performance and promote microbial growth.

Safety Information

Read all instructions before use to prevent injury or damage.

CAUTION! To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not disassemble or attempt to repair the unit yourself.
