  5. To turn off, simply unplug the unit from the electrical outlet.

Tip: Use distilled or demineralized water to reduce white dust and extend filter life.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning prevents mold, mineral buildup, and ensures optimal performance.

  1. Daily: Refill with fresh, cool water.
  2. Weekly: Clean the tank and base with a mixture of mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly.
  3. Bi-Weekly (or as needed): Deep clean with a solution of 1 teaspoon of white vinegar and 1 gallon of water. Let sit for 20 minutes, then scrub and rinse.
  4. Dry all parts completely before reassembling and storing.

WARNING! Never use harsh chemicals, abrasives, or detergents. Always unplug before cleaning.

Filter Replacement

The wicking filter should be replaced every 1-2 months, or more often if using hard water.

  1. Unplug the humidifier and remove the water tank.
  2. Remove the old filter from the filter frame.
  3. Soak the new filter (HUL535FILTER) in cool water for 15 minutes.
  4. Insert the damp filter into the frame, ensuring it is fully seated.
  5. Reassemble the unit, fill with water, and resume operation.
