Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all contents. Place on a stable, level, waterproof surface away from walls and electronics.

  1. Remove tank from base: Lift tank by handle.
  2. Fill tank: Turn tank upside down, remove cap, fill with cool tap water up to fill line. Replace cap securely.
  3. Place tank on base: Align tank with base and set down gently.
  4. Plug into AC power: Use a 120V, 60Hz outlet.
  5. Position unit: Place at least 12 inches from walls and furniture on a waterproof mat or tray.

WARNING! Use only cool tap water. Do not use hot water, additives (unless in medicine cup), or essential oils directly in tank. Ensure unit is on a stable surface to prevent tipping.

First-Time Use

Power on humidifier; adjust settings as needed.

  1. Initial fill: Fill tank completely as described in Installation.
  2. Power on: Plug in unit. The indicator light will illuminate.
  3. Set mist output: Turn the control dial to LOW or HIGH.
  4. Allow warm-up: Unit will begin producing warm mist after a few minutes.
  5. Adjust placement: Direct mist outlet away from walls, furniture, and electronics.

CAUTION! Mist is warm; keep out of reach of children and pets. Do not cover mist outlet.

Controls and Operation

Control Panel on base features Power Indicator Light and Humidity Control Dial.

Operation: Plug in unit to power on (indicator light on). Turn dial clockwise to increase mist output (LOW to HIGH). Turn dial fully counterclockwise to OFF (light remains on if plugged in).

Auto Shut-Off: Unit will automatically turn off when water tank is empty or if tank is removed while unit is operating. Indicator light remains on.

Refilling: When mist output decreases or stops, refill tank. Unplug unit, remove tank, fill with cool water, replace on base.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning prevents mineral buildup and bacteria growth. Clean every 1-2 weeks during use.

  1. Unplug unit and remove tank.
  2. Empty any remaining water from tank and base.
  3. Clean tank: Use mild dish soap, warm water, and included cleaning brush. Rinse thoroughly.
  4. Clean base: Wipe exterior with damp cloth. For interior, use a mixture of 1 cup white vinegar and 1 gallon water to descale. Let sit 20 minutes, scrub with brush, rinse.
  5. Dry completely: Air dry tank and base before reassembly.
  6. Reassemble: Place dry tank on base.

Tip: Use distilled water to reduce mineral deposits if you have hard water.

Using the Medicine Cup

The medicine cup allows use of inhalants like Vicks VapoSteam for temporary relief of cough and congestion.

  1. Ensure humidifier is off and unplugged.
  2. Open medicine cup lid located on the base.
  3. Add recommended amount of inhalant (follow inhalant instructions). Do not exceed fill line.
  4. Close lid securely.
  5. Plug in and operate humidifier as normal. Mist will carry medicated vapor.
  6. Clean cup after each use with warm water.

WARNING! Use only inhalants designed for warm mist humidifiers. Do not add essential oils, medications, or other substances directly to water tank.

Safety Features

Care & Storage
