  3. Place the empty water tank onto the base, ensuring it is seated properly.
  4. Position the humidifier at least 12 inches from walls and furniture for proper mist dispersion.
  5. Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Use only clean, cool tap or distilled water. Do not use hot water or additives. Ensure the unit is on a flat, stable surface to prevent tipping.

First-Time Use

Before first use, clean the tank and base as described in the Cleaning section.

  1. Fill the water tank: Remove tank, fill with clean, cool water up to the MAX line, and replace on base.
  2. Power on: Press the POWER button. The indicator light will illuminate.

Specifications

Controls and Operation

Control Panel located on the front of the base.

Buttons & Indicators: POWER Button (On/Off), MIST CONTROL Dial (Continuous from Low to High), REFILL Indicator Light (Red), QUIET MODE Button (on select models).

Normal Operation: Power ON > Set mist level > Adjust nozzle. The unit will run until the tank is empty, then automatically shut off. The red refill light will remain on until the tank is refilled.

Quiet Mode (Select Models): Press QUIET button to reduce fan speed and noise for nighttime operation. Mist output is slightly reduced.

Filling the Water Tank

Top-Fill method recommended.

  1. Ensure the humidifier is powered OFF.
  2. Remove the tank cap on top of the unit.
  3. Pour clean, cool water directly into the opening until full. Do not exceed the MAX fill line.
  4. Replace the cap securely.
  5. The refill light will turn off once the tank is adequately filled.

Alternative Method (Tank Removal): Lift tank off base by the handle, carry to sink, remove tank lid, fill, replace lid, and return tank to base.

Tip: Using distilled water can reduce mineral buildup and extend filter life.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Clean every 1-2 weeks during use to prevent mold and mineral deposits.

  1. Unplug the unit and remove the water tank.
  2. Empty any remaining water from the tank and base.
  3. Clean the tank: Add 1 cup of white vinegar and 1 gallon of water. Swish thoroughly. Let sit for 20 minutes, then scrub with a soft brush. Rinse completely with clean water.
  4. Clean the base: Wipe the interior and exterior with a soft cloth dampened with a vinegar/water solution (1:1). Do not submerge the base in water.
  5. Clean the mist nozzle: Use a cotton swab dipped in vinegar to clear any mineral deposits from the outlet.
  6. Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembling and using.

WARNING! Never use abrasive cleaners, bleach, or detergents. Do not allow water to enter the motor housing or electrical components.

Filter Replacement

The wick filter should be replaced every 1-2 months, or when visibly discolored or hardened.

  1. Unplug the humidifier and remove the water tank.
  2. Lift out the old wick filter from the filter holder in the base.
  3. Soak the new filter (Part #HF-300) in cool water for 15 minutes.
  4. Insert the damp filter into the holder, ensuring it is seated flat at the bottom.
  5. Reassemble the tank and base.

Note: Using the humidifier without a filter or with a dirty filter can reduce performance, increase noise, and disperse minerals into the air.

Care & Storage

When not in use for extended periods (e.g., summer months):

  1. Unplug the unit.
  2. Follow the Cleaning procedure thoroughly.
  3. Remove and discard the used wick filter.
  4. Ensure all parts are completely dry.
  5. Reassemble the unit without a filter.
  6. Store in original box or a cool, dry place.

CAUTION! Never store the unit with water in the tank or base, as this can lead to mold growth and damage.
