Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all components. Place on a flat, stable surface away from walls and electronics.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from the humidifier and tank.
  2. Install the wick filter: Remove from package and insert into the base slot until it clicks into place.
  3. Fill the tank: Remove tank, flip cap, fill with cool tap water (do not overfill).
  4. Place tank on base: Ensure tank is seated properly and aligned.
  5. Plug into a standard 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Use only clean, cool tap water. Do not use hot water or additives. Keep away from children.

First-Time Use

After setup, follow these steps for initial operation.

  1. Turn the mist control knob to the OFF position.
  2. Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet.
  3. Turn the knob to LOW or HIGH to start mist output.
  4. Adjust the 360° mist nozzle to direct mist away from walls and furniture.
  5. The refill indicator light will illuminate when the tank is empty.

CAUTION! Always place on a waterproof mat or towel to prevent moisture damage to surfaces.

Optimal Humidity: Use in rooms with 40-60% relative humidity. Use a hygrometer for best results. Auto Shut-Off: Unit will power off automatically when tank is empty; refill to restart.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning prevents mold and mineral buildup. Clean every 1-2 weeks during use.

  1. Unplug the unit and remove the water tank.
  2. Empty any remaining water from the base.
  3. Clean tank and base with a mixture of mild soap and warm water. Use a soft brush for hard-to-reach areas.
  4. Rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove all soap residue.
  5. Wipe all surfaces dry with a soft cloth before reassembly.
  6. For disinfecting, use a solution of 1 teaspoon bleach per gallon of water, rinse thoroughly.

Tip: Never immerse the motor or electrical parts in water.

Filter Replacement

Replace the wick filter every 1-2 months or when visibly discolored or clogged.

  1. Turn off and unplug the humidifier.
  2. Remove the water tank.
  3. Pull out the old wick filter from the base.
  4. Insert new filter (Honeywell Part #HWF-100) into the slot.
  5. Reassemble tank and base.
  6. Soak new filter in cool water for 15 minutes before first use.

WARNING! Using a dirty or old filter reduces efficiency and can promote mold growth.

Safety Features

Auto Shut-Off: Activates when tank is empty to prevent motor damage. Tip-Over Protection: Motor stops if unit is knocked over. Low Water Indicator: Red LED alerts when refill is needed.

Care & Storage

When not in use for extended periods, prepare for storage.

  1. Unplug the unit.
  2. Empty and thoroughly clean the tank and base as described.
