  1. Turn mist control knob to desired setting (Low for quiet operation, High for maximum output).
  2. Adjust mist nozzle direction as needed.
  3. Monitor humidity levels; refill when indicator light turns on.
  4. For initial use, run for a few hours to ensure proper operation.

CAUTION! Do not operate without water. Always place on a level surface to prevent leakage.

Specifications

Controls and Operation

Control knob: Rotate clockwise to increase mist output (Low to High), counterclockwise to decrease or turn off.

Indicator Lights: Green power light (on when plugged in); Red refill light (illuminates when tank is empty).

Operation Tips: Use in a central location for even humidity distribution. Keep at least 6 inches away from walls and furniture. Adjust mist output based on room humidity levels. The automatic shut-off will activate if tank runs dry or is removed during operation.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning prevents mold and mineral buildup. Clean every 1-2 weeks with normal use.

  1. Unplug unit and remove tank.
  2. Empty any remaining water from tank and base.
  3. Clean tank with mild soap and water; rinse thoroughly.
  4. Wipe base interior with damp cloth; do not submerge base in water.
  5. Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembly.
  6. Replace wick filter as needed (see Filter Replacement section).

Tip: Use white vinegar solution (1 part vinegar to 3 parts water) to descale mineral deposits monthly.

Filter Replacement

The wick filter should be replaced every 1-2 months, or when visibly discolored or hardened.

  1. Turn off and unplug humidifier.
  2. Remove tank and old filter from base.
  3. Insert new filter (Honeywell part #HRF-2) into slot.
  4. Reassemble tank and base.
  5. Soak new filter for 15-20 minutes before first use.

WARNING! Do not operate without a filter. Using a worn filter reduces efficiency and may cause overheating.

Safety Features

Automatic Shut-Off: Activates when water level is too low or tank is removed. Overheat Protection: Built-in thermal fuse prevents motor overheating. Tip-Over Protection: Unit will shut off if tipped over. Low Voltage Operation: Designed for standard household outlets.

Care & Storage

When not in use for extended periods, prepare for storage.

  1. Unplug and empty all water from tank and base.
  2. Clean thoroughly as described in Maintenance section.
  3. Remove and discard old filter.
  4. Allow all parts to dry completely.
  5. Reassemble without filter and store in original box in a cool, dry place.

CAUTION! Never store with water inside. This prevents mold and bacterial growth.
