Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all parts. Place on a flat, stable, level surface away from walls and electronics.

  1. Remove tank: Lift tank off the base unit.
  2. Install filter: Remove filter from packaging and insert into the filter compartment in the base.
  3. Fill tank: Turn tank upside down, remove cap, fill with cool, clean water. Replace cap securely.
  4. Reassemble: Place tank back onto base, ensuring it seats properly.
  5. Plug in: Connect power cord to a standard 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Use only clean, cool water. Do not use hot water or add oils, chemicals, or medications. Place on a water-resistant surface.

First-Time Use

After setup, power on the humidifier.

  1. Turn control knob: Rotate from 'OFF' to desired mist setting (LOW, MEDIUM, HIGH).
  2. Adjust mist outlet: Point the nozzle in your preferred direction.
  3. Activate night light (optional): Press the night light button if equipped.
  4. Monitor operation: Check for steady mist output. The refill light will illuminate when tank is empty.

CAUTION! Ensure the unit is on a level surface to prevent leakage. Keep out of reach of children.

Controls and Operation

Primary control is the rotary knob on the base unit.

Knob Positions: OFF, LOW ( ), MEDIUM ( ), HIGH ( ).

Indicator Lights: Power/Operation (Blue), Refill (Red).

Night Light: Separate button toggles soft blue light on/off.

Operation: Turn knob to desired setting. Mist output will begin. Adjust mist outlet direction as needed. The unit will run until the tank is empty, then automatically shut off and illuminate the red refill light.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning prevents mold and mineral buildup. Clean every 1-2 weeks during use.

  1. Unplug the unit.
  2. Remove tank and empty any remaining water.
  3. Clean tank: Use a soft brush and a mixture of mild soap and warm water. Rinse thoroughly.
  4. Clean base: Wipe the base reservoir and all interior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Use a vinegar solution (1 part white vinegar to 2 parts water) to descale if mineral deposits are present. Rinse thoroughly.
  5. Dry completely: Allow all parts to air dry before reassembly.

Tip: Never immerse the motorized base in water. Do not use abrasive cleaners.

Filter Replacement

The wicking filter should be replaced every 1-2 months, or more frequently if water is hard.

  1. Unplug unit and remove water tank.
  2. Access filter compartment: Open the latch or cover on the base.
  3. Remove old filter: Discard the used filter.
  4. Insert new filter: Use only Honeywell HWF-340 replacement filter. Place it in the compartment.
  5. Close compartment and reassemble tank.

WARNING! Operating without a filter or with a clogged filter can reduce performance and damage the unit.

Safety Features

Automatic Shut-Off: Turns off the unit when the water tank is empty to protect the motor. Tip-Over Protection: Some models may include a switch that turns the unit off if tipped over. Cool Mist Technology: Produces a room-temperature mist, safe for children and pets.

Care & Storage

When not in use for an extended period, prepare the unit for storage.

  1. Unplug the unit.
  2. Empty and thoroughly clean all parts as described in the cleaning section.
  3. Remove and discard the old filter.
  4. Allow all parts to dry completely.
  5. Reassemble without a new filter and store in the original box or a dry place.

CAUTION! Do not store with water in the tank. Always store without a filter installed to prevent mold growth.
