Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all components. Place on a flat, stable, and level surface away from walls and electronics.

  1. Remove tank: Lift tank from base and remove cap.
  2. Fill tank: Fill with cool, clean tap water up to the fill line. Do not overfill.
  3. Install filter: Insert wicking filter into the base assembly, ensuring it is seated properly.
  4. Install demineralization cartridge: Place cartridge into the designated slot in the base.
  5. Replace tank: Place filled tank back onto base, ensuring it clicks into place.
  6. Plug into standard 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Use only clean, cool water. Do not use hot water or add oils, chemicals, or medications. Place on a water-resistant surface.

First-Time Use

After setup, prepare the unit for initial operation.

  1. Power on: Plug in the unit. The refill indicator light may illuminate if tank is not full.
  2. Adjust mist output: Turn the control knob to desired setting (Low, Medium, High).
  3. Direct mist: Adjust the mist outlet grille to direct moisture away from walls and furniture.
  4. Allow operation: The unit will begin producing a cool mist. It may take a few minutes to reach full output.

CAUTION! Ensure the unit is on a level surface to prevent leaking. Keep out of reach of children.

Controls and Operation

Primary control is the rotary knob on the front of the unit.

Control Knob Positions:
OFF: Unit is powered off.
LOW: Minimal mist output, quietest operation.
MEDIUM: Moderate mist output.
HIGH: Maximum mist output for dry conditions.

Indicator Lights:
Green Power Light: Illuminates when unit is plugged in and knob is not OFF.
Red Refill Light: Illuminates when water tank is empty or very low.

Auto Shut-Off: Unit will automatically power off when the water tank is empty. The red refill light will remain on.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning prevents mold, mineral buildup, and ensures optimal performance.

  1. Daily: Refill tank with fresh, cool water.
  2. Weekly: Clean tank and base.
    • Unplug unit and remove tank.
    • Empty any remaining water.
    • Clean tank with a mixture of mild dish soap and warm water. Rinse thoroughly.
    • Wipe base interior with a damp cloth. Do not submerge base in water.
    • Dry all parts completely before reassembly.
  3. Monthly/As Needed: Deep clean to disinfect.
    • Use a solution of 1 teaspoon of white vinegar per gallon of water to clean tank and base.
    • Rinse multiple times with clean water to remove vinegar smell.

CAUTION! Always unplug before cleaning. Never use abrasive cleaners, bleach, or detergents not intended for humidifiers.

Filter Replacement

The wicking filter and demineralization cartridge are consumable parts.

  1. Wicking Filter (Replace every 1-2 months):
    • Turn unit off and unplug.
    • Remove water tank and old filter from base.
    • Insert new filter, pressing down until seated.
    • Soak new filter in cool water for 15 minutes before first use.
  2. Demineralization Cartridge (Replace every 2-3 months):
    • Remove old cartridge from its slot in the base.
    • Insert new cartridge. No pre-soaking required.

Note: Replacement part numbers: Filter #HWF-1, Demineralization Cartridge #HDC-1. Using non-genuine parts may affect performance.
