Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a flat, stable, level surface away from direct heat sources and electronics.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from the humidifier and tank.
  2. Install the filter: Remove filter from packaging, soak in cool water for 15 minutes, then insert into filter compartment.
  3. Fill the water tank: Carry tank to sink, remove cap, fill with cool tap water, replace cap securely.
  4. Position the unit: Place humidifier at least 12 inches from walls and furniture for proper airflow.
  5. Connect to power: Plug power cord into a standard 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not place on carpets or uneven surfaces. Ensure the unit is upright before filling. Use two hands when carrying a full water tank.

First-Time Setup

Power on the humidifier; the digital display will illuminate.

  1. Set desired humidity: Press the HUMIDITY +/- buttons to set your target level (30% to 60% recommended).
  2. Select fan speed: Press the FAN button to cycle through High, Medium, Low, and Quiet (night) settings.
  3. Enable Auto Mode: Press AUTO to let the humidifier automatically adjust output to maintain the set humidity.
  4. Set the timer: Press TIMER to program automatic shut-off after 2, 4, 8, or 12 hours.
  5. Activate night mode: Press the MOON icon to dim the display lights.

Connecting to Power

Use only the provided power cord and a properly grounded 120V outlet.

  1. Ensure the unit is off and the power switch is in the OFF (O) position.
  2. Plug the cord firmly into the socket on the back of the humidifier.
  3. Plug the other end into a wall outlet.
  4. Turn the unit on using the POWER button on the control panel.

Tip: Do not use an extension cord. Ensure the outlet is not controlled by a wall switch to prevent accidental shut-off.

Operation

For daily use to maintain comfortable humidity levels.

  1. Fill Tank Daily: Remove tank, fill with cool tap water, and reinstall.
  2. Power On: Press POWER. The unit will beep and display current room humidity.
  3. Set Preferences: Adjust humidity, fan speed, and mode as desired.
  4. Automatic Operation: In AUTO mode, the fan speed will adjust based on the difference between room and set humidity.
  5. Refill Alert: The display will flash when the water tank is empty. Refill promptly.
  6. Using the Timer: Set for automatic shut-off. The unit will beep twice before turning off.

WARNING! Never operate the unit without water or without the filter properly installed. Do not move the unit while it is operating or full of water.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning prevents mineral buildup and ensures efficient operation.

Weekly Cleaning: Unplug unit. Empty any remaining water. Wipe the base and tank interior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not submerge the base in water.

Monthly Deep Cleaning: Prepare a solution of 1 cup white vinegar and 1 gallon water. Fill the tank 1/4 full with solution, swish, and let sit for 20 minutes. Pour solution into the base and let sit for 20 more minutes. Rinse all parts thoroughly with clean water. Allow to air dry completely before reassembly.

Filter Replacement: Replace the demineralization cartridge (HWF-400) every 30-60 days, or when the FILTER indicator light turns on. Soak new filter for 15 minutes before first use. Press and hold FILTER RESET for 3 seconds after replacement.

CAUTION! Always unplug before cleaning. Never use abrasive cleaners, detergents, or chemicals. Ensure all parts are completely dry before reconnecting power.
