  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth.
  2. Weekly: Empty any standing water from tray; rinse tank and tray with clean water.
  3. Bi-weekly: Deep clean tank and tray with white vinegar solution (1 part vinegar to 3 parts water). Soak for 20 minutes, scrub, rinse thoroughly.
  4. Monthly: Inspect filter; replace if discolored or stiff.

CAUTION! Never immerse base motor unit in water. Do not use abrasive cleaners.

Filter Replacement

Replace wicking filter every 1-3 months for optimal performance.

  1. Unplug unit and remove water tank.
  2. Lift out old filter from tray base.
  3. Insert new filter (Model HWF-950), ensuring it fits snugly against the tray walls.
  4. Reassemble tank and base; fill with water to saturate new filter.
  5. Reset filter reminder (if applicable) by pressing and holding the indicator button for 5 seconds.
