Unpack and inspect all parts. Place on a stable, level surface away from walls and furniture.
WARNING! Use only on a stable, level surface. Do not place on carpets or near heat sources. Ensure power cord is not pinched or damaged.
Before first use, clean the tank and base as described in the Cleaning section.
CAUTION! Never operate without water. Always use clean, cool water. Do not add water directly to the base.
Primary control is the humidistat dial on the front of the unit.
Operation: Turn dial clockwise to increase mist output (HIGH) and counter-clockwise to decrease (LOW). The unit will run continuously until the tank is empty or turned off.
Indicator Lights: Green Power Light (on when plugged in and operational). Red Low Water Light (illuminates when tank is nearly empty; unit will shut off shortly after).
To Turn Off: Turn humidistat dial fully counter-clockwise to the "OFF" position, or unplug the unit from the outlet.
Always fill the removable tank, not the base.
Tip: Use distilled or demineralized water to minimize white dust (mineral deposits) if your tap water is hard.
Regular cleaning prevents mineral buildup and microbial growth.
Daily: Empty and rinse the tank if not in continuous use.
Weekly Cleaning:
Descaling (Monthly or as needed): To remove mineral deposits, fill tank with a mixture of 1 cup white vinegar and 1 gallon water. Let sit for 20 minutes, scrub, then rinse thoroughly with clean water.
CAUTION! Never use abrasive cleaners, bleach, or solvents. Do not immerse the power base in water. Unplug before cleaning.
The optional medicine cup is for use with inhalants or essential oils.
WARNING! Use only products designed for humidifiers or vaporizers. Do not add medicine or oils directly to the water tank. Clean the cup after each use.
Auto Shut-Off: Turns off heating element when water level is too low, preventing damage or fire hazard.
Cool-Touch Exterior: Designed to remain cool during operation.
Tip-Over Protection: Internal safety switch may interrupt power if unit is tipped over.
Important Safety Instructions: Always use on a stable, level surface. Use only 120V outlet. Do not operate with a damaged cord or plug. Do not cover mist outlet. Unplug when not in use for extended periods or while cleaning.
