Specifications

Controls and Operation

Primary control is the humidistat dial on the front of the unit.

Operation: Turn dial clockwise to increase mist output (HIGH) and counter-clockwise to decrease (LOW). The unit will run continuously until the tank is empty or turned off.

Indicator Lights: Green Power Light (on when plugged in and operational). Red Low Water Light (illuminates when tank is nearly empty; unit will shut off shortly after).

To Turn Off: Turn humidistat dial fully counter-clockwise to the "OFF" position, or unplug the unit from the outlet.

Filling & Water Care

Always fill the removable tank, not the base.

  1. Turn the humidistat to OFF and unplug the unit.
  2. Lift the water tank off the base using the carry handle.
  3. Carry tank to a sink. Turn it upside down and unscrew the cap on the bottom.
  4. Fill with cool, clean tap water. Do not exceed the "MAX FILL" line.
  5. Replace the cap securely and wipe any spilled water from the tank.
  6. Return tank to the base, ensuring it is seated properly.
  7. Plug in the unit and turn the dial to desired setting.

Tip: Use distilled or demineralized water to minimize white dust (mineral deposits) if your tap water is hard.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Regular cleaning prevents mineral buildup and microbial growth.

Daily: Empty and rinse the tank if not in continuous use.

Weekly Cleaning:

  1. Unplug unit. Remove tank and empty any remaining water.
  2. Clean tank interior with a mild detergent and soft brush. Rinse thoroughly.
  3. Wipe the exterior of the base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse base in water.
  4. Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembling.

Descaling (Monthly or as needed): To remove mineral deposits, fill tank with a mixture of 1 cup white vinegar and 1 gallon water. Let sit for 20 minutes, scrub, then rinse thoroughly with clean water.

CAUTION! Never use abrasive cleaners, bleach, or solvents. Do not immerse the power base in water. Unplug before cleaning.

Using the Medicine Cup

The optional medicine cup is for use with inhalants or essential oils.

  1. Ensure the humidifier is off and unplugged.
  2. Locate the medicine cup slot on the mist outlet or base (refer to diagram on unit).
  3. Add a few drops of liquid inhalant or essential oil to the cup. Do not exceed the fill line.
  4. Insert the cup into its slot.
  5. Operate the humidifier as normal. The warm mist will carry the vapor into the air.

WARNING! Use only products designed for humidifiers or vaporizers. Do not add medicine or oils directly to the water tank. Clean the cup after each use.

Safety Features

Auto Shut-Off: Turns off heating element when water level is too low, preventing damage or fire hazard.

Cool-Touch Exterior: Designed to remain cool during operation.

Tip-Over Protection: Internal safety switch may interrupt power if unit is tipped over.

Important Safety Instructions: Always use on a stable, level surface. Use only 120V outlet. Do not operate with a damaged cord or plug. Do not cover mist outlet. Unplug when not in use for extended periods or while cleaning.
