Specifications

Controls and Operation

Control Panel located on front of base unit.

Main Controls: Power Indicator Light (blue), Control Dial (turns unit On/Off and adjusts mist output: Low - High).

Operation: Turn dial clockwise from "OFF" to "LOW" or "HIGH" to start. Mist output will begin shortly. The night light turns on automatically when unit is operating. To turn night light off, a separate switch may be present on some models (if not, it is always on during operation).

Medicine Cup Use: Add inhalant (liquid drops or pad) to the small cup. Slide cup into the slot on the front of the unit. Mist will carry the soothing vapor into the air.

Adding Water & Medicine Cup

Refill when tank is empty or output decreases.

  1. Unplug unit from outlet.
  2. Lift tank off base by the handle.
  3. Carry tank to sink. Turn upside down and twist cap counterclockwise to remove.
  4. Fill with cool tap water up to the "MAX" fill line. Do not overfill.
  5. Replace cap securely by twisting clockwise.
  6. Place tank back on base, ensuring it is seated properly.
  7. Plug in and turn on.
  8. For medicine: Add inhalant to cup, insert into slot. Replace cup every 24 hours or as needed.

Tip: Use distilled or demineralized water to minimize white dust if it occurs, though not required.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Clean every 1-2 weeks during use, or if mist output decreases. More frequent cleaning may be needed in hard water areas.

  1. Unplug and empty all water from tank and base.
  2. Tank Cleaning: Fill tank with a mixture of 1 teaspoon white vinegar and 1 gallon water. Swirl and let sit for 20 minutes. Scrub interior with soft brush. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
  3. Base Cleaning: Wipe exterior with a damp cloth. For mineral deposits in heating chamber, pour a cup of vinegar into the base, let sit for 20 minutes, then scrub with a soft brush. Rinse thoroughly.
  4. Medicine Cup: Clean with mild soap and water. Rinse well.
  5. Dry all parts completely before reassembling and storing or using.

WARNING! Never immerse base unit, cord, or plug in water. Do not use abrasive cleaners or brushes.

Safety Features

Auto Shut-Off: Turns off heating element when water tank is empty or removed, preventing damage or fire risk. Cool-Touch Exterior: Base remains cool to the touch during operation. Tip-Over Protection: Unit is designed to minimize spillage if tipped, but always place on a stable surface.

Care & Storage

When not in use for extended periods:

  1. Unplug unit.
  2. Empty and thoroughly clean tank and base as described.
  3. Allow all parts to air dry completely.
  4. Reassemble and store in original box or protective cover in a cool, dry place.

CAUTION! Never store with water inside. This can lead to mold or mineral buildup.
