Unpack and inspect all parts. Place on a stable, level, waterproof surface.
WARNING! Use only cool water. Do not use hot water or add oils directly to water tank. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
Before first use, clean tank and base as described in Cleaning section.
CAUTION! Never operate without water. Do not block mist outlet. Place out of reach of children and pets.
Control Panel located on front of base unit.
Main Controls: Power Indicator Light (blue), Control Dial (turns unit On/Off and adjusts mist output: Low - High).
Operation: Turn dial clockwise from "OFF" to "LOW" or "HIGH" to start. Mist output will begin shortly. The night light turns on automatically when unit is operating. To turn night light off, a separate switch may be present on some models (if not, it is always on during operation).
Medicine Cup Use: Add inhalant (liquid drops or pad) to the small cup. Slide cup into the slot on the front of the unit. Mist will carry the soothing vapor into the air.
Refill when tank is empty or output decreases.
Tip: Use distilled or demineralized water to minimize white dust if it occurs, though not required.
Clean every 1-2 weeks during use, or if mist output decreases. More frequent cleaning may be needed in hard water areas.
WARNING! Never immerse base unit, cord, or plug in water. Do not use abrasive cleaners or brushes.
Auto Shut-Off: Turns off heating element when water tank is empty or removed, preventing damage or fire risk. Cool-Touch Exterior: Base remains cool to the touch during operation. Tip-Over Protection: Unit is designed to minimize spillage if tipped, but always place on a stable surface.
When not in use for extended periods:
CAUTION! Never store with water inside. This can lead to mold or mineral buildup.
