Controls and Settings

Primary control is the Mist Control Knob on the front of the base unit.

Mist Control Knob: Rotate clockwise to increase mist output (LOW to HIGH). Rotate counter-clockwise to decrease output or turn OFF.

Indicator Lights: Power On/Off indicator (blue). Low Water Indicator (red) illuminates when tank is empty or nearly empty.

Filter Change Reminder: Based on usage time (typically every 1-2 months). Manual reset may be required after filter replacement.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning prevents mold, mineral buildup, and ensures efficient operation.

  1. Daily: Empty and refill tank with fresh water if not used for more than 24 hours.
  2. Weekly Cleaning: Unplug unit. Remove tank. Clean tank and base with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly. Do not immerse base in water.
  3. Descaling (Monthly or as needed): Use white vinegar solution (1 part vinegar to 2 parts water) to remove mineral deposits. Soak affected parts for 20 minutes, scrub gently, rinse well.
  4. Drying: Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembly.

Tip: Use distilled or demineralized water to reduce mineral buildup and extend filter life.

Filter Replacement

The wicking filter should be replaced every 1-2 months, or when discolored or clogged.

  1. Unplug humidifier and remove water tank.
  2. Open filter compartment door on the base.
  3. Remove old filter and discard.
  4. Soak new filter in cool water for 15 minutes.
  5. Insert new filter into compartment, ensuring it sits flat and contacts the water.
  6. Close compartment door securely.
  7. Reset filter change indicator if applicable (consult manual for reset procedure).

WARNING! Never operate the humidifier without a filter installed. This can cause excessive mineral dust (white dust) and damage the unit.

Safety Features

Automatic Shut-Off: Activates when water tank is empty or removed, preventing damage to the motor. Tip-Over Protection: Unit is designed to minimize spillage if tipped, but should be placed on a stable surface.

Care & Storage

When not in use for extended periods:

  1. Unplug the unit.
  2. Empty and thoroughly clean all parts (tank, base, filter compartment).
  3. Allow all parts to dry completely.
  4. Remove and discard old filter. Do not store with a wet filter inside.
  5. Reassemble unit without filter and store in original box or a dry place.

CAUTION! Do not store with water in the tank. Never wrap power cord tightly around the unit; coil loosely.
