Specifications

Controls and Operation

Simple knob control on front of base unit.

Control Knob Positions: OFF, LOW, MEDIUM, HIGH.

Operation: Turn knob to start; mist output increases with higher settings. The power indicator light glows blue when unit is on. Automatic shut-off activates when tank is empty (light may blink or turn off).

Tips: For continuous operation, refill tank before empty. Adjust mist based on room humidity. Use low setting overnight for quiet operation.

Filling the Water Tank

Refill when mist output decreases or tank is empty.

  1. Turn knob to OFF and unplug unit.
  2. Lift tank off base.
  3. Carry to sink, remove cap.
  4. Fill with cool tap water to MAX line. Do not overfill.
  5. Replace cap tightly, ensuring seal is secure.
  6. Place tank back on base, plug in, and turn knob to desired setting.

Tip: Use demineralization cartridge to extend cleaning intervals and reduce white dust.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning prevents mold and mineral buildup.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth.
  2. Weekly: Empty any remaining water, rinse tank with clean water.
  3. Every 2 weeks (or as needed): Deep clean tank and base.

Deep Cleaning: Unplug. Mix 1 teaspoon white vinegar with 1 cup water. Use soft brush to scrub interior surfaces. Rinse thoroughly with clean water. Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembly.

CAUTION! Never immerse base unit in water. Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasives, or detergents.

Demineralization Cartridge

Reduces white dust caused by minerals in water.

Installation: Located in base compartment. Insert cartridge as shown in diagram; ensure it snaps into place.

Replacement: Replace every 30-60 days, or when white dust appears. Cartridge part number: HD-30 (or as specified).

Note: Using distilled water may extend cartridge life but is not required.
