Controls and Operation

Main control is the rotary dial on the front of the base. Indicator lights show unit status.

Control Dial: Turn clockwise to increase humidity output (Low → Medium → High). Turn fully counterclockwise to OFF.

Indicator Lights: Green power light (on when plugged in). Red refill light (illuminates when tank is empty or improperly seated).

Operation Tips: For best results, place unit centrally in room, at least 12 inches from walls. Use in rooms with doors closed for faster humidity buildup. Adjust setting based on season and indoor dryness.

Refilling the Water Tank

Refill when red indicator light turns on or when output decreases.

  1. Turn dial to OFF and unplug unit.
  2. Lift tank off base using handle.
  3. Carry tank to sink. Turn upside down and twist cap counterclockwise to open.
  4. Fill with cool, clean tap water. Do not exceed fill line.
  5. Replace cap securely and wipe any spills.
  6. Return tank to base, ensuring it clicks into place.
  7. Plug in and turn dial to desired setting.

Tip: Refill daily for continuous use. Use distilled water if white mineral dust appears.

Maintenance & Filter Care

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

Note: Using hard water may require more frequent filter changes.

Cleaning Instructions

Unplug and empty unit before cleaning.

  1. Disassemble: Remove tank, filter, and any removable parts.
  2. Clean tank: Use mild dish soap and warm water. Rinse thoroughly. Do not submerge base in water.
  3. Clean base: Wipe interior with damp cloth. Use vinegar solution (1 part white vinegar to 3 parts water) to remove mineral deposits.
  4. Dry completely: Allow all parts to air dry before reassembly.
  5. Reassemble with clean or new filter.

CAUTION! Never use abrasive cleaners, bleach, or detergents not intended for plastic. Do not immerse motor base in water.
