Installation & Setup

First-Time Use

After installation, follow these steps to begin operation.

Power on: Press the POWER button. The unit will beep and the indicator light will illuminate.
Set humidity: Turn the HUMIDISTAT knob to your desired setting (e.g., 45% for comfort).
Select speed: Press the SPEED button to choose High (fast humidification), Medium, or Quiet Night (lowest noise).

Filter Replacement

The wicking filter should be replaced every 1-2 months during use, or when visibly discolored or scaled.

Turn off and unplug unit. Remove water tank.
Open filter compartment door on the base.
Remove old filter. Discard properly.
Insert new Honeywell HWF-100 filter. Ensure it is seated properly.
Close compartment door. Reassemble tank and base.
Reset filter indicator (if model has one) by pressing and holding FILTER button for 3 seconds.

Troubleshooting
