Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning prevents mineral buildup and microbial growth. Unplug before any maintenance.

  1. Daily: Refill tank with fresh, cool water.
  2. Weekly Cleaning: Empty any remaining water. Clean tank with a soft brush and a mixture of 1 teaspoon of white vinegar and 1 gallon of water. Rinse thoroughly.
  3. Base Cleaning: Wipe base interior with a damp cloth. Do not submerge base in water.
  4. Drying: Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembly.

Tip: Use distilled or demineralized water in areas with hard water to reduce scale buildup and extend filter life.

Filter Replacement

The antimicrobial wicking filter (HWF090) should be replaced every 1-3 months, or when the FILTER indicator light turns on.

  1. Unplug the humidifier and remove the water tank.
  2. Remove the old filter from the filter frame.
  3. Soak the new filter in cool water for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Insert the damp filter into the frame, ensuring it is seated properly.
  5. Replace the tank and plug in the unit. Press and hold the FILTER button for 3 seconds to reset the indicator.

WARNING! Never operate the humidifier without a filter. This can cause over-humidification and damage the unit.

Safety Features

Auto Shut-Off: Turns off when desired humidity is reached or when the water tank is empty. Tip-Over Switch: Automatically shuts off power if unit is knocked over. Filter Alert: Reminds user to replace filter for optimal performance and air quality.

When not in use for extended periods, prepare the humidifier for storage.

  1. Unplug the unit and empty all water from the tank and base.

  4. Remove and discard the old filter. Do not store with a used filter installed.
