Unpack and inspect all contents. Place on a firm, level, waterproof surface away from electronics and direct sunlight.
WARNING! Use only cool, clean tap water. Do not use hot water, additives, or essential oils. Ensure the unit is on a stable, waterproof surface.
After installation, follow these steps to begin operation.
CAUTION! Do not block the mist outlet. Keep the unit out of reach of children and pets.
Primary control is the humidistat dial on the front of the base unit.
Humidistat Dial: Turn clockwise to increase humidity output (HIGH), counter-clockwise to decrease output (LOW). Setting it to the minimum position turns the unit off.
Indicator Light: The green power/refill light illuminates when the unit is plugged in and operating. It will turn amber or red when the tank is empty, signaling the need for a refill.
Automatic Operation: The unit will run until the desired humidity level is reached or the tank is empty, at which point it will shut off automatically.
Regular cleaning prevents mineral buildup and microbial growth. Unplug the unit before any maintenance.
Tip: Use distilled or demineralized water to reduce mineral deposits and extend filter life.
The antimicrobial filter should be replaced every 1-2 months, or more frequently if the water is hard or the unit is used constantly.
WARNING! Never operate the humidifier without a filter installed. This can cause excessive mineral dust output and damage the unit.
Automatic Shut-Off: Activates when the tank is empty to prevent damage to the motor. Tip-Over Protection: The unit is designed to minimize spillage if tipped, but should be placed on a stable surface. Antimicrobial Filter: Helps reduce the growth of mold, mildew, and bacteria in the filter material.
When not in use for extended periods, prepare the unit for storage.
CAUTION! Never store the unit with water in the tank. Always ensure it is completely dry to prevent mold growth.
